I was being gouge to upwards of $236+ for DirectTv when I cut the cord. Changed to Hulu Live+ about 2 years ago. Started out at $79.99 a month and has since gone up yo $86.99. I am still ahead and not going to b*tch about the pricing for a while.

Switched to Hulu. Ive used it before it's fine. UI is not as good as YoutubeTV IMO. DVR isnt as good.

They are knocking 20 bucks off for 3 months so for now I'm good at 64.99 per for a few. Actually save a few bucks for a minute.

Seems the real strategy in the streaming days is to stay nimble and don't get tied to any one platform.

@dawgfromduluth I had the very exact same problems… My own YouTube TV account was costing me $82.99 per month, and now they have had this same old crappola "Disney" licensing conflict renewal contract crapp problem for the second different college football season over the last four, or maybe it has now been something like five seasons, and this time it happened during college football season AGAIN!!!!! AND IT REALLY, REALLY HAS P!$$ED me EFFFFF off!!!! So?, I found Sling TV with the "Orange" package for $45.00 per month, and then I had to add on the ESPN sports package for another $11.00 per month. Grand total now? $56.00 a month versus the garbage of paying $82.99. After I did that, I watched our Georgia DAWGS versus Mississippi State copy-cat want to be bulldogs game from last weekend, with no problems at all. So (for now) I am seeing the Georgia games for $27.00 less dollars per month, and so YouTube TV can now just go out somewhere, and then they can all go and "Tech" themselves for all I care!!!!

    GO DAWGS!!!

Same here. Will wait and see the $ fall-out at minimum. Fubo has some plusses but minuses are aggravating thus far.

Was not home last night so did not get the news till this am. Email from youtubetv says i do not have to do anything, your channels will be restored and channels will be where they were.

Not true for me, my channels were the same as in blackout. Logged out of youtubetv and back in, no change. Went to my computer and turned on youtubetv and went to channel guide. My Disney channels were at bottom of list and hidden like any new channel is when added to youtubetv. Now all are again visible and rearranged.

Tip if you still do not have them.

Be intrested to know what your Issues with fubo are. Had a neighbor that dumped them last year because of tech problems and afterwards had billing issues.

Disney+ - $29.99/mo gives you Disney, ESPN, & HULU. It's been pretty good so far, except Miss St.

Well, now that everything is back to original condition, I'm going to start a serious streaming service comparison. Thanks for all your suggestions. I will take them into consideration as I research the options. Will let you know what I find and my decision.

As I stated before I came out $75 ahead. $10 credit for 6 months and 1 time $20 credit, less $5 one time purchase of Sling. I believe this is 1st time ever benefitting from a cable/streaming dispute. I visited my 94 year old neighbor for Florida game and watched Miss St game on Sling.

The down side is I don't have these games on Youtubetv to rewatch. Maybe they will show reruns at some point. If not can go to You Tube to watch highlights and may even find entire game.

You drive a hard bargain. The game replay may be an issue. Coming out of the woods at dusk, we usually watch the days' games that night.
