For all the talk about the concerns with Drew Bobo and the offense, I'll say the defense is in much better shape now to at least limit Bama's game control. What did they have in the first game, like 8 straight 3rd down conversions to start the game? That is just unheard of for the Dawgs, and hopefully there will be some market corrections for this game.

I'm curious how Bama will go about business in this game. Having moved ahead of ND in the rankings and looking more secure for the playoffs win or lose, and having already defeated the Dawgs this season, will they play more conservatively and just try to keep it close, or will they be aggressive early like they've done in the past? For the Dawgs, there is much more motivation obviously in getting a victory. In any case, I'm hoping we see that defense we saw vs Texas show up.

@Eric_C….yes, good point. Bama was 13/19 on 3rd downs for the day. Incredible stat. Dawgs were 2/8 on 3rd downs. Just pitiful. And Bama's time of possession was over 10 minutes longer than the Dawgs. I think that's a huge stat. We actually could have lost by more if you just look at the stats. Bama missed opportunities and the Dawgs slowed down their running game pretty well.

Both teams and QBs are better this time around. We have lost (4) games against Bama in The Benz out of only (5) games that Kirby has lost in that venue The other loss being a shellacking by Joe Burrow and LSU in 2019. So, historically, this venue is not kind to the Dawgs at all when we play Bama. Dawgs sure need to change that narrative.

Talyn Taylor has TWO collegiate catches, and he's a "key offensive weapon"? 🤨
