Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I'll give you that. Gunner has a little ways to go. Hasn't reached the ceiling yet.
Take either one of those guys out of the offense, and i'm not sure they win 12 games this year. Actually, they probably wouldn't have been in the SECCG. So....11 games.
If somebody gave Branch the Offensive Player of the year....I wouldn' dispute it.
He's a helluva Football Player and leader. He can run, block, tackle, theow the ball...whatever. Kind of like Bowers on the edge.
Come to think of it....Branch is gonna be a hard guy to replace. Just like Bowers. Lol
Yup W's are what count. ""Bobo's playcalling/offense" - which is mostly Kirby's." No truer words have been spoken about the current UGA O. CKS does not want to lose because of risky offense. If you win a slugfest vs UGA than good for you. But we're not gonna beat ourselves.
"24% of the attempts go for 15+ & 25+ yards…or 34% completions the total for both, 15 & 25." I'll take your research for it. But that doesn't pass the eye test and can be misleading (completions) . 15 yards? I could buy that. 25? Don't remember a lot this year. Why I say misleading. ZB1 's 13 yard TD vs AL was actually a pass completed behind the LOS. I remember at least 2 ZB1 TD's that were on WR screen plays. He has had a few other longer WR screens that started out behind the LOS.
NThomas had a couple (few?) long receptions and DBell had a couple (few?) longer receptions. Of course, LHumpreys had "The Catch" on a 4th down desperation throw. But I'd say many (?) of UGA's longer receptions (especially at TE) have involved YAC.
At the end of the day "stat's" mean nothing. I was just commending MG for digging a little deeper than receptions, yards, avg/catch and TD's for ZB1. And wondering out loud how the '25 UGA O played out, % wise, for actual THROWS w/in 5 yards of the LOS vs throws down the field. The/your stats say 24% . I initially guessed 5X (20%) but wondered if it was more. 15-25 is too big a range. Within 5 yards of the LOS and over 20 yards downfield would be interesting.
"Would be happy with a good ole 6-3 game". Personally I think low scoring games are better, more intense games. You cannot make a mistake in a low scoring game. One mistake gives the other team a score that usually is the difference. To me that is a better game than teams going up and down the field and scoring with the last team w/the ball winning.
