I can see them going to an 8 game regular season, 2 games vs each conference (Sorry G5, your participation awards have been played out... they should just get their own national championship). Worst team from each conference is out, drawing the field to a 64 team playoff played as home games according to seeding, rankings will be changed throughout the playoffs and based on performance. At round of 32 bowl games come in but sponsor home games, again highest seed gets the home game. At round of 12 the new years 6 bowls are played at their featured destinations. The downfall is teams that lose won't play 15 games but the final 2 teams will. Transfer portal opens for teams that lose their games, you can't transfer or even enter talks with teams still in the playoffs. You won't have opt outs because every player will want to play for a chance at the natty. As far as NIL, NO freshman should get a single cent before playing their 1st year. Their "freshman NIL" will be the 6 digit education, board and meals that they are getting for free. After that, they are paid by how they perform. I know there's more negatives but this is just a brainfart.

    GO DAWGS 🔴🐾⚫️ SIC'M!

As much as we may not like it, the professionalization of the Power 4 has occurred. The only way I can see it going is to create a format like the NFL with meaningful contracts (with legal teeth) and financial caps. NIL and transfer portal would be non sequiturs in that arrangement. To further insult the de-evolution of college sport at the highest level, attending class and getting a degree will probably become optional. Rah, rah…

something in the water at Georgia. Downs went to OSU after leaving bama and this guy. Seems no one wants to play for KS. Georgia is too hard on these guys or the money isn’t there. Go Dawgs!!

Here we go again writing and article about someone choosing another school over UGA. You that girl I like, she chose another dude.

You know that job I really wanted and interviewed for, they went with the other candidate. What happened to if you aint nothing good to say, don't say nothing at all.

UGA needs to take care of business with Ole Miss, then whoop Ohio State. Need I remind everyone that Jordan Davis was a three star recruit out of high school. There are kids that want it real bad, and they'll be at Georgia.

I think the days of signing multiple 5 stars is over. They come out of high school with an inflated ego driven by this star ranking and think they need to be paid like a multi-year performer. Give me a ton of lesser stars with the desire to prove themselves. And oh by the way throw in an occassional walk on for good measure.

The payday was just bigger at Ohio State.

So just thinking here…Kirby loves being at Georgia, this is obviously his home. He is only 50. How long with fighting this NIL business will we be able to keep him? At what point does it get so frustrating to him doing the hard work and coaching and developing the high school kids, yet seeing other schools get the elite, elite playmakers because they can write the big checks? I see one of two things happening here. Eventually, I see him going the way of Saban or Kiffin. Either he leaves college football (retires or coaches pro) OR he goes to a school that can write the checks (like Kiffin) so that he can break the ceiling he is at with Georgia. What is stopping Kirby from winning the SEC championship and CFP natty every year? MONEY. He knows that if he is on equal footing with these other schools it would not be a contest. JMO.

Jacob Jr is a traitor to his state and to his father's UGA. Nothing else matters. He is precisely the type that Kirby Smart was talking about. OSU will be a great place for this mercenary. We ain't forgettin'!
