Play calling was questionable, but Bobo with Beck saw downfield passing… so it’s not all on Bobo. We all know GS needs improvement, but GA QBs don’t need to be worldly All Americans, although that would be neat and cool. Just need GS to utilize all his weapons, be a passer who can run, play cool and calm like he is, and we’ll be alright. Stetson didn’t have all the ‘physical tools’ but he played Georgia ball and that’s all we need.
I didn’t need a day to think on it. I complained about it every game as did this entire forum.
People like you that refuse to listen and to learn from all.the people who explained to you time and time again how wrong you are about Bobo and the game in general are becoming an embarasment to the fanbase You all over exaggerate the frequency of plays, mistake plays for calls they are nof, and fail to have any understanding of why a play call may be called during specific situstions or down and distance. There is so much proof and yet you wont even research it bc yall would rather live in fhe fake reality you have formed in your head so you can stay hating and not admit you were wrong. The ignorance of it all may be the most embarassing part of it all. That or your lack of desire to seek the truth and being correcr about what you think above all else.
It would be one thing if you all had any valid argument or could provide any sort of proof, but you cant. Even without all the other people explaining to you all time and time again you should still be questioning your opinion off the fact Kirby has told you already that you are wrong over and over. On top of that the fact Bobo is well respected and often credited as a top 5 oc in the sport by all the.coaches, experts analysis, nfl staff and genuinely everyone with credibility in the football industry. Basically every single person who knows more than you all and should be looked to for information and expert advice on the subject you ignore and shout your ignorant, repetitive and incorrect opinions.
I honestly do not know anymore if you all are just trolling or if you are just this stubborn and ignorant. It feels much more likely it's the latter with how frequently and with so much conviction you all are about showing your stupidity. The fact you obviously dont understand the flaws at a fundamental level of most your argument and how they either are untrue or not even relevant to the points you make are the only reason I can give some grace for your unwillingness to even consider your stance needs to be questioned. Most of you appear to genuinely have no ides why thr things you believe are untrue or why you are blaming thr wrong person. Since you cant even begin to see how you are wrong it sort of makes sense why you believe the dumb crap that comes out of your mouths. I tbink i ust expect too much out of most people. Its fine to be wrong ino. Everyone doed not know what they do not know at first. Its absolutely unforgivable for people to not reevaluate or to look into alternative answers when other people present them. For you to not at least consider and reassess your opinions after all te times people have told you that you were wrong , explained to you, how you were wrong and provided all the film breakdowns by people well respected for their analytical and film break down skills that shows you are wrong can only be explained by stupidity or stubbornness. Continuing on being wrong is so much worse and damaging to your perception than initially getting wrong. Ill.never understand wanting to continue on exposing yourself to more and more people as a moron who would rather lie to.themselves and pretend they are right than to improve themselves and actually be correct about what they are speaking on. I hope you all can find whatever it is you need to become better versions of yourself, bc thats the biggest concern here. These types are a lost cause. Unable and unwillingn to understand how they are wrong or why. They think things happen or plays are called that are not even what actually happened. Lacking any understanding of why a play is called or the context of the situation. They refuse to provide any sort of proof all while ignoring or refusing to look at and consider any of the countless film studies or breakdowns done by trusted and well respected sources and former player/coaches in the footbsll industry. Thats the saddest part of it all that they would rsther remain ignorant and being wrong repeating their horrible takes than to simply consider or look at thr facts and be correct. The narcissism to think that watching a game live from what the TV provides to see can allow them to have any idea what the true problems are is unbelievable. The ignorance or stupidity feels one of a kind To not consider the backing or endorsementb that bobo has by essentially everyone in footbsll including kirby, college and nfl cosches/personnel and other experts or analysts with real credibility and playing backgrounds. Idk how they convince themselves that everyone else is wrong and somehow they know better or are able to see something the professionals do not. I kind of wonder what they do or how they ignore when ofher fans say how good he is or how they wish they hsd him calling plays id guess they just write it off as if they somehow don't know better, despite them just watched their tesm play us and been impressed with the play calling and the scheming of future plays. Never seeing the predictable play calling or "2 runs up the middle and a screen" that the morons swear is all he calls. They are sn embarrassment to us all. Making uga, other fans, and everyone from the south look.bad. reinforcing negative stereotypes of stupidity and ignorance. Simply looking into it all can easily show them how wrong they are. Jyst have to consider it without a bias and realize that most the time they are complaining about the outcome or result and not the play call, which often fails bc it is not available run correctly. Theynsee a failed result bc execution is failed which when that happens it doesnt matter what you call bc the players actions are not what is required for the play call to actually happen. God im over it.ive tried to help so many understand and politely, but i have no patience or sympathy for people unwilling to better themselves or consider proof or info provided. Two really, really long posts of total nonsense. By your thought, unless you are a D1 athlete, your opinion means nothing and you have no clue of the game or how to play. I would point out, the head coach of the World Champion Seattle Seahawks never played college football, at ANY level. Giving yourself the moniker of D1Athlete does not give you any credentials. Most of us on here played and may have been really good but most of us on here understand the game and when bad calls are made, we recognize them. The fake punt in the playoffs, the “no field goal” play last year, and, whether you watched or not, the incessant sideline screens DID happen as did the bombs. Our Tight Ends were non-existent, other than blocking, and, unless your name was Branch, you rarely saw the ball.
Personally, I like Bobo and think he is good for us but denying these questionable calls is just plain silly and discounting an opinion because we aren’t D1 athletes is ignorant.
i also wonder how hurt Gunner was during the season and if it was impacting his vision bc there were some very wide open pass catchers in multiple games. Gunner didn’t get them ball. That’s gotta get better in 26 without Branch on the squad.
Did GS hurt his eyes? Or are you saying he was hurting and didn't want to get hit? He definitely struggled to see the field or even past the LOS at times. At the same time, CKS and CMB called the plays that only allowed 13% of his pass attempts 15 or 20 yards past the LOS. The coaches were so intent on him making low risk throws that they limited him. GS seems to be the opposite of SBIV when it comes to a willingness to take risks at QB.
I’ve read some rumors he had an oblique injury which likely impacted his ability to throw downfield.
Noah Thomas posted a video this weekend where quite a few times he was wide open and for whatever reason gunner didn’t target him. Why Gunner doesn’t make those throws? I can’t say…only he can. Maybe he’s getting coached to minimize risk (wouldn’t shock me) or he’s not as comfortable making those throws.
Without Branch those screen passes won’t be as successful so Gunner is going to have to utilize the middle of the field. Greene and Gaston will need to get better at protection and we will need Drew Bobo back. Otherwise it could be a long season on offense.

I certainly don't agree with every play call, all calls do not work. But for the most part they do if they are executed by the players. Game planning is also a big part of football WAY before kickoff - Kirby is a conservative coach and tries to keep the offense & defense in sync…hence, Bobo doesn't get every call he wants. To win is the end game, not how pretty it looked …and certainly not what works with "John Madden Football".
If I had a real complaint, it would be over on D'.
Thought that this was the best overall coaching job for the team that I have seen in a long, long time. Finishing the way they did with 50 plus percent freshman and sophomores was remarkable. Heck, I am good with Bobo's performance and really DGAS what he makes, not my money.
Finishing as a finalist for the Broyles award ain't easy. Neither is finishing 2nd in the SEC in scoring in '23 …. nor is breaking a school record for scoring in '14.
It's fair game if you want to criticize Bobo…but know what you are talking about and not give half - wit answers like you did to me.
And if you are serious about it, you are getting nowhere here. Write Kirby and the AD and give them the answers you gave me about Bobo, get back to us with your response. This place could certainly be a little livelier.

He played HS football as a linebacker/fullback until I believe an ACL sidelined him. He also coached running backs and linebackers at the same HS.
He was also a grad assistant and a defensive quality control assistant at UGA for 3 years and as a DC at Michigan…as well as numerous positions in the pros.
Pretty good foundation and an impressive background in football IYAM.
Nonetheless, thinks Div 1 makes some pretty good points…don’t let his “moniker” bother you. My guess is, he’s been in the arena and has some knowledge.

Lolol....most of these commentaries that are down on Stockton's prospects, will flip before game 4, in '26. They won't be able to explain the why there's a difference between this year and last....cause, they just don't see the brilliance in his game, yet.
But....they will. Cause, they're Dawg Fans. Heck...most people misunderstand the quarterback position.
Imo...There's a reason a guy playing mediocre football, for "one" organization, can change scenery and suddenly look like a genius. I've seen it time and time again over the decades.
A quarterback is only as good as the other 10 guys around him....And, vice versa. Not to mention a defense...is a must for any Championship QB. I think in most cases, they get waaay too much credit...and, blame.
However, that's part of it. A great quarterback must be smart and well grounded with all of the prerequisite physical attributes.
IMO....Gunner epitomizes the position. I think...a lot of Dawg Fans don't know what they have, yet. In fact....CFB Fans in general, don't know. They're just following the lead and verbiage of the hypsters.
You want to make a bet? Put the family farm on Gunner Stockton in '26. Barring injury....he'll win the Heisman.
