How about Dubon? Guy is pure gold in the field and hits the ball pretty good too.
Acuna likely to the IL. Who do we bring up for the outfield?
Might be forced to go with Yas and bring in someone. I don't know who we have in the minors that is ready. Hope they don't rush Harris back too soon, but he may be close to ready. Sale with 10 K's and a 3-hitter over 7 innings. A real gem of a game. Fingers crossed for Strider tomorrow.
I erred with my post last night. Sale had 11Ks, not 10. He struck out 7 of the last 9 guys he faced and was throwing 97 at the end.
Heard Jose Azocar is being recalled to replace Acuna.
He's caught a few balls in RF today so far. Strider is struggling with his control/command a good bit - 5Ks and 5 walks in 3 innings. Braves up 3-2 going into the 4th.
Yep, having to debut in Denver is not ideal with command issues. We got the sweep anyway. Bummer got credited with the win - scorer's discretion. I would have given it to Fuentes for getting out of the 5th inning jam Bummer allowed.
Azocar has experience in Coors field, so made sense. Low level strain so Acuna should be back without need of a rehab hopefully.
Another nice job by Fuentes. I'm liking him more and more.
Acuna seems so injury prone. I fear he might become Mike Trout.
The Braves seem to handle the "next man up" stuff pretty well. We are a run scoring machine.
I feel confident Strider will keep improving and be a reliable starter. Thin air is tough on breaking stuff. He seldom seemed comfortable out there today. I think it will come.

He struck out seven but walked five….those walks were indicative of rust from his layoff….he should do better in LA!
That and moving on from Colorado!
Well, another series win. In this case a sweep. And it seems like some of the wins have been of the most improbable come-from-behind type.
25-10. I can't remember a start like this.
Seattle and L.A. next. Let's hope we can keep the series win streak going.
This is going to be the gauntlet part of the trip. I expect a letdown in the first game in Seattle. Not a letdown of motivation. Rather, I think the Braves will be physically challenged because of the 3 days spent at altitude. That takes a toll. Plus, Seattle ain't Denver. Should be a physical bounce-back in game 2. Still, Seattle ain't Denver. Fingers crossed. It'll be a real test of the non-Chris Sale pitching staff.
Baseball can be a cruel game. Jonah Heim had probably his best game ever yesterday, home run, double and 5 rbi. Today designated for assignment to make room to activate Murphy.
Murphy's penchant for injury may see Jonah joining the team again.
