Oh a negative opinion from ESPN on Georgia. Go figure. They hate UGA.

Nothing new here. We all know about the lack of a decent pass rush and a vertical, downfield passing threat & explosive plays involving the passing game. More team parity + lack of experienced, talented depth = Dawgs return to earth and the new reality of college football. The Bama dominance and even Georgia early 2020s dominance probably won't be repeated again.

BUT, dominance can certainly occur over a season and into the post-season as was proven by Indiana especially and also Ohio State. The key for the Dawgs, or any elite contender, is to limit key injuries and be playing your best football going into the post-season. The Dawgs have been limping into the post season the last few years and definitely not playing their best football. Our inconsistent play game-after-game and costly injuries continued to effect the Dawg's performance.

Can Kirby somehow change the Dawg's performance going forward?

Another thrilling and informative expose by that world renown athletic prognosticating institution…ESPN…..I suppose their judgement based on previous years production is about as legitimate as their usual prognostications based on race.

Have to agree with your logic here. I know I am getting roasted, but if you look at how many games that we pulled out of the fire last year, we for sure have a long way to go to win over elite play-off teams, so I agree with ESPN. I like our talent level for this year and we may be special. Gonna be a fun ride!!

ESPN being ESPN and Mike Griffith tag teaming with Connor to denigrate or passive aggresively attack the DAWGS. It is a song as old as time, err, as long as they have both worked for Dawgnation and as long as ESPN has existed. Just smile and wave boys…they are not worthy….

I agree with ESPN. UGA doesn't have talent stacked up like 2023. Certainly doesn't have experience like 2023. Now we pin our hopes on incoming freshmen, which wasn't even a thought in 2023. That being said, no one does. Indiana won it with 3 stars and a great QB. I will say, those 3 stars had a TON of playing experience. Something to pay attention to.
