ESPN lists the top strength of each pre-season top 25

Found it interesting that they listed UGA's as the defensive secondary. Would have put O-Line, Runningback, or even QB before that unit.

Yeah that’s a bit of a head scratcher. Most potential? Yeah secondary would be a interesting pick for that considering some of the young talent like Richie and Campbell but the groups you listed are absolutely our strengths as of now.

I think the secondary will be the strength of he defense by the end of the year in 2018

  • Seth in his piece about deandre baker said that if he can shut down his side of the field then that helps keep the secondary legit.

I can see secondary being UGAs top strength HC and DC are DB guys. Baker is the #1 corner in college... Reed, LeCounte, and if he's back Gibbs offer great stability. After that just gotta get decent okay from McGhee or Campbell. Also Poole and Webb had great springs. Reese joins as a safety as well as many other retuning players. OLine woukdbe been my top choice. QB and RB lost 2 RB off starter level and a starting caliber backup at QB.
