Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Not likely not bashing the kid but he’s heavy footed. We wanted to get more twitchy at 3T, we have a few 3T that are great at holding the point of attack, but Carter and maybe Brinson are the only ones I’ve seen on tape that are capable of effecting the passer consistently inside. Tyler Clark does it as well and he deserves some praise, would like to see more effecting the passer though.
Hardy doesn’t fit the mold but as I type this, you never know what our staff is doing.
No kidding...just linking a troll to the nasty little man and both to the poster who's only point here is to agitate.
The way I see it, we slow played 2 good players (TB/ZW) that we lost to Auburn. But the two players that we held out for are still available. 5⭐️ Jordan Burch and 5⭐️ Zachary Evans. I know LSU is "trending" but I trust CKS and staff they wouldn't slow play guys if they didn't think they had a shot. Five out of the top Eleven (DW is 11 behind Gilbert) are uncommitted and we're heavy in the recruitment/finalist with FOUR of them (JB, KR, ZE, DW). And we only have 16 commits vs most schools have 20 or more already. Let's beat LSU next week, lock in on the rest of our targets, and finish strong.
Go Dawgs!
Yep.
I understand the frustration and impatience this fanbase is feeling whether it's offensive performance, preceived recruiting losses or occassionally coaching decisions. I don't always agree with the frustration......but this fan base is hungry for a championship.
But if Kirby has done anything during his short tenure at Georgia.......it's recruit. If there is one area that everyone should just sit back and trust the process.. ..it's recruiting.
Recruiting should be praised or criticized on Thursday, Feb 6th. Not before. Very premature to do so before then.
We've got great Dawgnation members that provide excellent intel. But things can change in an instance in recruiting. I went through it and am going through it again with my son.
Georgia is surrounded by top notch universities and football programs who are going to get theirs. For those that don't understand why kids sometimes chose programs like Auburn, Tenn, USC or Florida over Georgia.......then you don't understand recruiting and everything that goes into it. More than anything else.......more than winning, more than championships, more than facilities, more than anything else.......it ultimately comes down to relationships......and all of these schools have staff members that are excellent relationship builders.
Other things are very important in recruiting......don't mean to suggest that they aren't. But ultimately it's about relationships.
I have a feeling that come Feb 6th, 2020 that we'll all look back and see that Georgia was very good at relationship building.
Good post Tex. IF we land Burch, the loss of Walker will dissipate quickly.
Jermaine Burton 👀🤷♂️👍🏻
This is a recruiting thread but if you want to start a Trey Scott debate I would love to discuss that with you!
Can you and Billie Jean move that to another thread though ?
I thought that’s what I was doing?
Believe we have sights on only select two or three come signing day for RB position with order of preference being Evans, Cheney and Lloyd (all lightning style backs as opposed to thunder versions like Tank). Otherwise we go the transfer portal/grad transfer route to suffice until 2021. Remember, this spot is for depth only as far as a need goes so we can afford to be picky!
Next to commit is DW imo.
Walker and Burch are both pegged for the same position spot imo, therefore I would prefer Burch if forced to take only one. Believe we would like someone like Dexter for the 5th spot on DL or go another route ala transfer portal, etc.
I like Walker a lot, but see him as a BPA addition and not as a one of our 5 DL needs if we land Burch.
I know the kid moved around a lot but was that an “ATL” tattoo on his arm?👀 Where's @SoFL_Dawg. I need you to get your mojo back and come here with your gif game.
His mojo is stolen by a rather large Scotsman. It ain't coming back.
