Wondering if Fleming is a shoo-in now that wren is out?
Where the **** are people getting Fleming from? There has been nothing anywhere to suggest he’s not goIng to Ohio state
they are referring to Marcus Fleming I believe.
Burton currently endorsing the tigers with Rakim Jarrett on Rakims last ig post just now 🤷🏼♂️ Could mean something or nothing at all
He's gonna go catch passes from former QB2.
Can’t say shoo-in. Still offers speed and is a true WR. He’s definitely a name to watch.
I don't believe it's a coincidence that Wren decommits after the secret visit from LSU WR. I had Burton and Smith coming a while back with Robinson out to keep at 4. Since then Robinson has impressed while Wren seems a scat back type rather than WR. My hope is still that we are in it for Jarrett but Rosemy, Burton, Smith and Robinson would be just fine by me!
Interesting side note is that the Wren decision now puts the UGA average recruit score at the same as Clemson (94.12) even with kicker Zirkel being 1 of the 15 (94.89 excluding) and our only non blue chip.
I agree with this. My only question would be, if we actually are aiming for 6 pass catchers, does that imply that we feel confident with our other position groups in regards to recruiting? Or would Wren just not fit the BPA profile?
We will currently have the following next year:
3 tech. DT - Rochester (can play NT in pinch), Devonte Wyatt, Jalen Carter, Warren Brinson, Nazir Stackhouse
Nose Tackle - Jordan Davis, Tymon Mitchell, Netori Johnson,
SDE - Travon Walker, Malik Herring, Bill Norton, Zion Logue
Am I missing anyone?
I think K/P should have a completely different ranking system.

My ideal roster has 12 WR and 6 TE. We currently have 10 and 5 respectively with at minimum 2 of each leaving at the end of the season. That would mean on numbers alone we need 4 WR and 3 TE this cycle although 1 would not go with 3 TE as that would give us 3 Freshmen and 3 Sophomore which I wouldn't like looking forward to future years (2021 = 0; 2022 = 0; 2023 = 3; 2024 - 3 etc).
My main issue with Wren was always that his tapes showed more like a RB good out of the backfield which doesn't meet our needs IMO of outside receivers with speed and height. Even if he was being looked at as a slot receiver I don't see that it is a position of need for us the next 2 years.
"Fun" recruitment.
This is the guy that shot 66-65-64 through the first three rounds at ANGC and then just put up a 31 on the front 9 as far as that goes.
