Now it looks like some A&M cbs coming in. I don’t think anyone knows lol

Did an LSU insider just CB him to A&M?

Don’t think that game makes or breaks the season. Even with a loss, we can still win the East, win the SEC Championship and get to the playoff.

Look, I'd have loved to have had the kid and advocated and defended him on here many times but it's CKS's decision to make. If this is his decision, then I trust his judgment. No one here knows the details of what happened.

I'll say again though, despite having been DVed heavily the first time I said it, I hope he doesn't go to aTm. Think that would a bad decision for his development and growth as a man.

I would much rather see him at A&M than LSU - much less likely to have to face him if he is A&M.

I agree he’s going to get pounded there, but it is what it is.

Then it would be perfect if an Alabama insider CB'd him to Florida, and an Auburn insider CB'd him to Ole Miss, and a Wake Forest insider CB'd him to Ohio State, and so on and so forth. Get that clickbait rollin rollin rollin

I am of the belief next year CFB will be alot more open. We all know Clemson is a lock. OU despite history will be there as well. LSU (King in talks transferring) and Bama are looking solid. I will always have UGA there. Oregon and Utah will continue to push and I think Oregon is building something. OSU/PSU/WISC are all going to be sitting there as well. UGA needs to win that game cause SECE is going to have some trap games.

Don’t think he can come back due to league rules.

For those worried about facing Evans if he goes to LSU, remember that LSU would have to face Burton.

I hate to say this but based on what we’ve heard, which of those players is more likely to play in that game?

I get it. Just frustrating. Yes elite class. Just worried about the FUTURE ofthe rb room. Not necessarily next year, but the years after. Keeping a stable of RBs is an excellent thing to have and i see us trying to play catch of to get back to that. We will have 4 next year and I dont think cook is that guy unlike most. Just hope we land 2 studs next year like a sony/chubb recruitment.

@SoFL_Dawg what would be the priorities to finish the class now with seemingly 3 spots left. jackson and who else???

  • ThelordjohnsonThelordjohnson Posts: 4,077 ✭✭✭✭✭ Graduate

Same will UGA have to pull three in next season with Zamir and Cook probably exiting leaving only Milton and KMac in the room?

  • scooterdawgscooterdawg Posts: 3,066 ✭✭✭✭✭ Graduate

So since last year it was: No big deal in getting RBs because 2020 is loaded and we'll get 2...

Now it's no big deal because we'll take 2 in '21? Really hope Zeus is ready to carry the load.

Based on the sources I trust from this site, it’s hard not to come to the conclusion that this is a major character issue. At this level - seems like it would have to be pretty egregious. I’m sure we’ll never know the whole story. I don’t have any ill will toward Evans at all, just wish I knew the backstory for selfish reasons. I was a know it all guard in high school bball and got into with my coach (not physically). I’m no stranger to being a dumb kid, just have to guess this is off the charts bad behavior.

Honestly think this is crap and hate it for the kid. Besides the fact that he is an elite athlete I really think the coaches at UGA could have really helped him get things in order. I would expect Kirby to at least take the chance seeing as they have built relationships with him for awhile now. Maybe the incident was so bad that we were left no choice but to walk away but I feel for the young man.

There's Kmac and Milton. RBs can contribute as freshmen. There's also Cook although I'm still not sold on him as a RB.
