Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I hope we don’t go back to “special teams will be coached by committee”. That still haunts my nightmares.
Ha! You had to know that one way or t'other, you would have to change it. Right? (rhetorical, really, but feel free....)
I was thinking that this would be the best for both teams. I think we go with a passing coordinator or QB coach and he or someone else gets special teams in a dual capacity. Of course Butler did a good job with Rod but that may be too specialized to warrant a full time coach.
I think and hope we are getting Evans. I guess we will know for sure Jan. 7, May13 or Aug 18.
I wonder who will take over Special Teams since were prolly bringing in someone for the QB.
I sure enjoy and appreciate the commentary folks like you, Jeff, and soflo bring to the table! Keep it coming!
My wife said the same thing
Only sure thing is that the Vols fans won't realize that they are not in the running for him until Nov 14th when we play them. 🤣
Well said. Lesson learned
@texdawg any updates you are hearing (new news to you) out of your massive state regarding Evans?
Can we stop asking for updates and just assume ZE is ours and wait to hear who our last couple will be
I really don't have any. Things seem all over the place.
They’re will still be a band of fans expecting him to swap locker rooms just prior to kickoff.
Wrong Texas dawg @TxnDawg
for those of us interested in updates regarding the top recruit left on the board, where do you suggest we inquire outside of this Recruiting 2020 board?? Asking for a friend .... btw thanks for the response @texdawg
It’s already been posted he signed what more is there to know? As of now he will be there at the start of next season so why keep asking?
