Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I'm not saying no, but Shipley is not that big (I don't think he's really 190).
@scooterdawg As far as rankings go they will change over the next eleven months a good bit. A guy like Audric Estime could shoot up to high five star or drop to a middling three star.
Frankly, Evans is less likely to hurt UGA the next few years at TAM than if he went to LSU or Bama.
Just speed-read through the last dozen pages or so as I've been offline most of today. I get that people are disappointed that Evans isn't coming after all of the build up this week, but it does seem as though many here are all in on getting top recruits no matter what it takes.
One can't think Kirby is the best recruiter in the business and the right architect to build (and maintain) UGA as a perennial national power and then suddenly change your mind and deem him an idiot or a failure for letting Evans go to another SEC school.
Evans' raw talent and potential on the field are self-evident...what is not evident to anyone here is the totality of what Kirby & Staff know about this recruitment. Rather than ask "how can Kirby let this kid get away?", I think the better question would be "geez - how many flags are there that Kirby isn't willing to give him a chance?".
Even if Evans were to have signed tomorrow: would anyone be surprised if he was portal-bound in a year? I wouldn't be.
Still wish him the best - off and on the field...except against UGA.
Can't wait to see the players that have already committed to this class recognize their full potential in the coming years -
Go Dawgs!
Gibbs didn’t really impress me in the AA game but that 40 time from Edwards...a typo? I could see bringing in a small, speedy guy but do the Dawgs need another big back without speed?
Hello?
"Easy" would be more relaxing.
@texdawg does Evans’ coach show allegiance to a specific school in particular?
Anyone need to borrow?
Disregard the quote above ..can’t delete it.
Serious note:
Hope Evans becomes stronger from this adversity. Hope whatever team that gets him commits to helping him grow as a person as it seemed Georgia was ready to do.
Much less serious note:
I will never forget this recruitment as my total number of down votes literally more than doubled from my comments...(I finally realized why some people comments disappear unless you click on them)...I ain’t mad though...just realize a lot of you guys express love in different ways.
thanks to sofl, Texdawg and all the others for keeping us in the loop. Moving on...
On the bright side, if you look at my post from the previous page about next year’s RB class, our boy Kendall would be the #2 back in the country by a bit...so while it sucks to only get one back in a VERY rich class, we got a good one.
Not Tex but unequivocally yes! They’re Texas guys.
You give a pretty levelheaded assessment an overwhelming amount of the time.
in your opinion did the hs coaching staff contribute to the severity of these situations?
Yes. Pretty sure Tex said as much at some point.
