Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Has everyone forgotten about blaylock???
that acl is a 18-24 month rehab to get back to FULL strength.
sure you can come back in 4-6 or 8-12 months but usually better safe than sorry.
It's in Blaylock's best long term interests to wait and take a red-shirt in 2020.
I'd selfishly love for him to be on the field for UGA in 2020, but I don't think that would be the smartest move for Dom.
Zamir White tore his ACL in november and was back by the start of fall camp until he tore his other ACL because the first one wasn't fully back.
Amari Rogers for Clemson tore his ACL in spring 2019 and was able to play the entire 2019 season.
who knows how long it'll take Dom, but I think the Rogers story is the minority
247 shows Kirksey transfer to UGA from Nevada.
I’m sure Zeus will help him.
Remember he can still play in four games and still use a redshirt.
Grad transfers in will count against the2021 25 right?
Great answer
You sound like you've dealt with a lot of ACLs
Would be very surprised if Dom isn’t medically cleared to play by mid season at the very latest. ACL recovery typically takes 7-9 months and he’s got the best doctors and PT guys in the business so should be on the short end of that. Hopefully he’ll get his confidence back quick and will be back to 100% by the end of the season.
Great breakdown @ChimRicholds
Yes he is transferring but will be a PWO
Jeff posted these pics in his thread, Newmans High school uniform...
Couldn’t delete the quote above.
Just wanted to say that I really believe the Newman news is huge. Don’t get me wrong. I would have loved to have seen Fromm come back. He is the most underrated player in my life time to play for Georgia. Newman has ridiculous potential though. He was so good this year and highly under appreciated. He had some great WRs at Wake Forest, but I can’t wait to see what he does with the talent at UGA.
Name to know: Ennis Rakestraw Jr.
@JeffSentell has talked about him from time to time.
Would be a very valuable 4th DB to nab
