Don't be swayed by internet message board rumors. Evan is going to be something very special in college and the NFL. Maybe more so than any other RB in the 2020 class. That is why he was the #1 person in the 2020 class before Burch took over. If he wants to commit to UGA, well happily take him.

Atleast until Tank actually is ready to commit then that door might be shut.

I didn’t say he wouldn’t come back because he’s a classy dude. I said he wouldn’t come back and thump his chest after the players start committing. You know, declaring he was right and others were wrong.

It's been fascinating to see 247 saying Walker is all dawg for months and months, that he's a "major Georgia target," then I check in on the board and he's not a take according to those in the know. I think he's maybe the Burch backup plan, so he might end up a Dawg.

Plot twist: Evans and Tank commit this weekend, and Milton is left hanging.

Milton has a spot saved as a power back. There is probably a short list of speed backs that have committable offers and we will take whoever wants to commit first.

While Milton may be a silent commit (and will make it public Monday), the fact Evans is coming this weekend lets me know that Tank hasn't really made anything privately known to the coaches. However it eventually shakes out well be in a much better position then we were with the last class.

I would disagree in that Milton and Bigsby are competing for one spot and Evans and McClellan the other with maybe Tank as the cross-over should neither Evans nor McClellan be an option. If Milton commits elsewhere Monday (doubtful) then Tank will commit next week.

You may know something I don't. I've seen many places saying Milton+Bigsby are a great duo/take. I can't imagine if MIlton commits Sunday that suddenly Tanks spot is not there anymore.

I think or I've read at least it is more like Evan and Bigsby are competing for one spot. Whoever is willing to go public first gets it.

I think a lot of things like commitments are on hold. Over the last 3 years it seems like Kirby likes to script these things. I think UGA is holding every one back till the Milton announcement. Then I think the Dam may burst.

Evan's is a long shot here guys, he is only coming bc his two teammates are coming to town. Milton and tank , let's roll with that, we are prob 3rd in running for evans

What info do any of us have outside of what we're told by people more in the know? Jeff himself said he's hearing it's a two team race between UGA and Bama. @SoFL_Dawg has said we are firmly in the race. I personally think Alabama came across as very desperate with their signing of Evans' teammate; Saban doesn't take 2 for 1 commitments, or at least he didn't in the past.

Alabama feels like the professional archetype of a team trading future assets for win-now players and coaches because Saban's hourglass is running low on sand.

Lol thinking A&M is not in the race

Package deals generally fall apart if the elements of the package have no other ties than friendship/desire to play together. Would a top recruit ultimately go to a school with an unfavorable environment that could cost him $5+ million dollars to help his friend who may not be as talented get a spot where he may or may not be successful. Equally would a middling OL come to UGA to a situation where he likely not make the depth chart to be with his RB friend to maximize his potential. In the case of Adam Anderson IMO he flipped to LSU to help his 2 buds get an offer but flipped back to help himself. Friends helping friends but within limits.

I would not put too much stock in the "package deal". The other player will actually improve his stature by being an Alabama commit even if he doesn't end up there.
