- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

@SoFL_Dawg love, love, LOVE reading the wealth of information that you provide!!!! GO DAWGS!!!
This post deserves the Brandon Adams’ patented, “Whoa-ah-haohohohoh! Are you kidding me!?!?”
Thank you for the update. This sounds like excellent news...Kirby and Co. really do seem like the best in the business! Cant wait to see how things unfold over the next few months.
Other news...
We’re expecting 5 OL, 4 WR, 5 DL. Being told a full class will be taken. Couple of changes on mock.
TE class: Gilbert and Large (I’ll get into this one later)
DL class: Carter, Burch, Brinson, Stackhouse, and Z. Walker. A few changes here. Seems like the current events of a few DL targets have changed the board on Stackhouse. Still possible he’s not in this class but because of a few changes/performances, we have his commitment sticking. On Walker there’s belief that he will beef up into a true 3T and has similar projection to that of a J. Cowan. So here we have Burroughs and Cowan out. Decommitment before season starts.
DB class: Ringo, Kimber, and J. Conley. If Williams wants in, he’s going to need to decide quickly and it doesn’t sound like the timelines are currently matching up. He has a tough decision centered around family there.
OL: Add Lindberg and SVP.
WR: our class was on campus this week. Been trying to talk up Smith, we should be very excited about his game. He could easily be the best of the bunch. Rosemy, Robinson, and Wren would pair with him.
Finally, I’m hearing 3-4 commitments are imminent. Obviously I won’t release names but within the week across the 20 & 21 class should announce.
Thanks as always. As a sort of tamu fan, I’ll try to keep my ears to the ground on Evans. Kind of a win win for me no matter what, but rather see him as a dawg. Tank pushing back means no down side to going all in for Evans, and he’d refuel RBU with jet fuel in tandem with Milton.
I know my friend who is plugged into their forums isn’t overly confident, but he has been burned many times by sumlin and is pessimistic in general lol. Again, I’ll try to actually add something to this board and echo some aggie thoughts on the matter if I come across any.
Grabbing Burch would be huge, agree we haven’t had a really effective “havoc” player since Jarvis Jones. Not sure I remember one on our Dline either, which is why I think grabbing Burch would be the biggest win of the cycle. BTW, I heard he was being recruited by lanning, should we read into this that he isn’t a pure down lineman and could get some work standing up?
P.S we love you
Thanks for the info SoFL_Dawg!!
Wonder what went wrong with Washington??
Also want to bring up that TAMU has potentially the hardest schedule in the country this year. They could have a really good team and still lose 4 games. They play at Clemson early and we are their crossover game on the road. That added onto an SEC west schedule is bananas.
If Evans sees an 8-4 or 7-5 team, and UGA takes care of business, it could change things.
Not so much anything went wrong. Conflicting info on this one so confidence is lower. I think this will be an either or situation with Gilbert or Washington. We’ll see, would love to take both but...
@SoFL_Dawg - Can't imagine how busy you've been this weekend so thank you for taking the time to share what you're able with everyone here. To say excitement & interest are high with everyone here would be an understatement (!)
The collection of names that are legitimate potential additions to the 2020 class almost defy belief. Any one of the names being discussed would be the crown jewel of other programs' recruitment class and yet here we are not asking "which one?" but "how many?". An embarrassment of riches, for sure.
Have to say - as impactful as any of these names can be, I feel like Burch is the most critical/important (and that's saying something with this group). Even if he's drawing double teams, that's opening up space for any one of the havoc-makers on the defensive side of the ball while he's on the field. Fingers crossed the staff can make this one happen.
If you're able to answer a "what-if?": if Evans were to choose TAM before his senior season, is it a plausible scenario that a less-than-stellar season by TAM - or a loss vs UGA - would be enough to flip him back to UGA?
Thanks again & Go Dawgs!
*Edit/note that @Kirbstomper - looks like we had similar ideas on simultaneous posts...I agree that TAM's difficult schedule could be an X-Factor
To clarify: All references to “Havoc” players in this thread should be taken in reference to the 2020 class and beyond.
There are a handful of those on the team from the 2018 and 2019 classes. You will see them “pop” this fall.
Sewell next to commit??
First hearing of Conley.
I’m definitely more than okay with having a top 130 player and a 6’2” Safety.
Phenomenal intel @SoFL_Dawg
Go Dawgs
No. He posted his Top 8 after that
5 DL
I REPEAT, 5 DL
We rollin', boys. I've heard all I need to hear!
As thrilled as I am with all the good news, there's just something special to me about stacking up talent on the DL. That has always seemed to be the difference maker in big games to me.
I'm sure it's somewhat of an equal thing between OL and DL as far as necessity in winning, but our OL has been so solid for so long now that I'm ready for our DL talent and depth to match. Don't get me wrong, our DL is good. But I would love to see the sheer absurdity of the talent level on our OL be matched by our DL.
Also, welcome back @SoFL_Dawg !
@razorachilles
I’m not sure. I’m being told Dell is trying to get Evans to decide now. I don’t know if that means they’ll take it to ESD and beyond. I would imagine as long as Dell feels confident he’ll fight the good fight but I haven’t been told that specifically.
Not likely but as long as he does is all that matters. Top 3 player in this class and that room is crowded. He and Dean likely force some attrition.
@SoFL_Dawg thanx as always for bringing the heat, everyone appreciates it and looks forward to it. Very surprising on the cam large projection.
Side note: I have been looking for ND tickets today and looks like this household will have to sit this one out guys. To steep for my budget! Go dawgs
sewell not next to commit.... but Florida And Tennessee hahahahaha
also i have a pretty good feeling that’s #2 jersey will Be open on The defensive side of the ball next year
Conley certainly came out of left field. Looking forward to Jeff's write-up on him next week!
Welcome back, @SoFL_Dawg.
