The Braves are still scoreless after 14 innings against The Artful Dodgers.
Not even a legit threat. Aside from Acuna's double in the first no pressure put on Kershaw at all. Very disappointed in the offensive approach in alot of these at-bats. A lot of watching fastballs go by coupled with swinging at a lot of curve balls and off-speed stuff. Not a great recipe for success.
Their best days are in front of them. They just need to keep building. Nobody expected them to win the East and nobody expected Washington to be so bad this year, so it's not all doom and gloom...but I gotta admit...this is a worse showing than I'd foreseen, although I picked them to be eliminated in the first round.
Would it be a record if the Braves got swept without scoring a run?
