- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Different parts of the country. Programs with winning histories and passionate fanbases. Great atmospheres.

If you ask me Florida State looks run down on TV. Don't know if I would like the atmosphere there. Just feels like the life left with Bobby, even with Jimbo winning the Natty the place looked like it was going downhill. Give you the rest though

Ever watch the movie "The Wrestler" with Mickey Rourke? That is FSU football.

I hear that Blacksburg is nice and yes a home and home with Virginia Tech would be good as well as West Virginia. How about Memphis, great town and close enough to the casino's for those who like to place a wager occasionally.

And those who like to eat dry rub at the Rendezvous?

Thanks Domn! Couldn't remember the name of that place, ate there about 10 years ago and the ribs were fantastic. Have a friend in Memphis today and was trying to recall the name to tell him.

    All night games

    1. Nebraska - Hopefully a few years after Frost makes them a contender again. Coming from someone who lives here, ticket prices are still well over $300 for OK seats even when they aren't good. IMO they have the best traveling fans in the country, although after what Georgia did at ND last year puts them in heavy contention.
    2. Michigan - Great atmosphere and fans travel
    3. Penn State - Great atmosphere and fans travel
    4. Clemson - Great atmosphere and both would be top programs
    5. USC - Both would be top programs and you could probably get those lazy LA fans to show up

We used to have GSC conference and NCAA regionals in XC in Memphis back in the day. Always tried to treat the kids to a nice meal there. Never knew about dry rub before going there.

What places do we want for the purposes of recruiting benefit? Miami, Tallhorsey, PSU, two Texas towns?

Wouldn't mind playing Texas in a home and home. Austin would be a nice town to visit.

I have friends who go there annually and they rave about it - great restaurants and incredible music scene. Tons of things to do there...and with the way UT is playing, the game itself may be the least of the attractions

Yeah I dated a coed out there many moons ago, the river walk was incredible. Be a great home and home.
