Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

This shall pass.

Yes it hurts. I couldn't hardly sleep last night. The Dawgs played one heck of a game yesterday.

We can blame the coaches, we can blame the refs, it doesn't matter it hurts and it sucks. Do I want to keep saying maybe next year, of course not! I will find comfort in the fact that we are more closer than many other teams out there.

So let's get our rant on, dry our tears, and get ready to go bowling for the rest of the season. I've got to put my big boy underwear on, because I know come tomorrow all my co-workers are coming for me. It sucks living in Birmingham Alabama this time of year.

Go Dawgs!!!

    Good post, thanks.
Still, I never lose sleep over The Hawks, I don't have my hopes built up so I can't be very disappointed.
With The Dawgs, Braves and to a lesser extent The Falcons the pot at the end of the rainbow is too often a chamber pot.
Ironically the closer we humans come to our goals, the more it hurts to fall short of them.

Yes. We have to manage our expectations if we are to avoid disappointment. That's one of the values of the "process". Focusing on manageable goals that are under our control.
