Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Eli Wolf Dad Bod
The picture of Eli Wolf on DawgNation made him look like he had a bit of a spare tire, if you know what I’m saying....
Do you think he is out of shape or just embracing his leadership role as a mature grad transfer???

It's all in the hips. @WCDawg, what's your assessment?
This guy is a former 2 star recruit with 8 career catches. His name should never be associated with "Help is on the way."
@DGDinNYC, I think you're selling him short.
A belly is a sign of power in some cultures. Perhaps that is the culture in Minster, Ohio.
Told my wife this and she said it was only a "sign"
Haha no chance -- just wearing a loose-fitting shirt. This guy is working out 5 days a week with a trainer -- very disciplined family. Older brother was with Packers last season.
I agree with Mike. Don't know what the rest of you were looking at. The guy looks to be in great shape.
He does need a good looking uniform!
Shoot, all the players look great and in shape. Remember when spring training and fall camp were about shedding a few pounds and getting back in shape? Now it's a whole 'nother world. The guys are fit all the time.
Kirby wouldn't be bringing this guy from Tennessee for any reason other than to help out.
Go, Dawgs!
Looked like a beer gut to me as well, wouldn't be the first guy with a belly to dominate football however, Jerome bettis used to use his gut like a spongy battering ram as he trundled down the field.
@MikeGriffith Any idea if there's a connection between Eli's family and Ron Wolf's family? Your mention of the Packers made me wonder. Eli's dad is James, who runs a sporting goods company in Ohio. Ron's son Eliot is Assistant GM for the Browns. Must not be a direct line but maybe they're cousins?
IIRC that's your neck of the woods, so thought you might know.
"Trundled"?!
Nice!!!
As an English teacher, I approve.
Just a little?
I don't think so--- really. I'll ask if there's a connection. These are quality people here -- like, among the best I've run across as far as sports families and handling adversity with grace.
This site is likely secure enough. You must have missed the SWP-2019-03 update for your stepford. Includes the much anticipated "lip limit" mod that will obviate such comments in the future. Can apply the update at any Stepford downtime node. Surprised you missed it. You'll wonder why it took so long to get the specs set and the mod out!
