Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

You sir are living good. Waiting on heading to Nashville for the supercross race. The wife and I plan on “tailgating” some
lil bit of crab, shrimp, scallops, with taters & corn, andouille sausage. Cajun boil, minus crawfish (harder to get down here).
grilled some burgers, took the dogs for a walk. now resuming a Star Wars marathon with my boy
machete order for the win
@SoFL_Dawg looks good!
My invitation got lost in the mail. 😫
Hid from the wife most of the morning, but she caught up with me, handed me an axe and told me to start getting rid of big old pine stump. I told her that we use to use dynamite to that. She said get after dynamite.
Killing time before I pack and scoop up my lady and then head to the airport to fly to Charleston (folly beach) for an extended weekend
Thanks for letting us know and have fun. While you"re gone, I'm going to go back and undo all your Mod Activity just so you'll have something to do when you get back....😈
so trying to plan the spur of the moment trip to Paris. probably was not my best idea. in a 10 month period I have trips to Denver, Jamaica, Louisville, beach trip and now Paris
Paris is HUGE! 5 days is apparently nothing there. Anyone been and have some insight to offer? Going to get an Airbnb I think. Best value. But trying to see even a portion of the city is overwhelming, let alone outside of the city
I also made some "prime fib" today based of this:
highly recommend. My piece of meat was $15 and came out so much better than its cost
Taught both daughters to drive. One is 21 the other 17 it was fun and so far so good.
No point regretting the impulse buy. (Assuming you can't cancel it.) May as well run with it. Beyond that, a few thoughts:
I've been to all the places you're going, but not everyone has, and you're going to get an RPP general response if you're not careful.
As for Paris, or any other major city abroad, talk to a friend who's been there, read everything you can in advance, and just pick a few places you want to go.
Trying to pack in too much is a rookie mistake. If you're there five days, pick five tourist attractions to see (Eiffel Tower and Louvre would obviously be on the list). Don't try to hit five spots per day.
Make dinner reservations at some nice places. Also leave time to: (a) wander around the city with no agenda, and (b) test out the bed you're sleeping in with the missus.
If possible, enjoy the flight as well. It's part of the adventure.
Taught my one niece how to drive stick. Recall my sisters saying that our one uncle taught them to drive. They'll never forget. 🚙
Couldnt let this thread get to far away. Nothing big to post. But thought I'd say our mechanic at work had some surgery and is out for awhile. I'm having to be more involved with keeping the equipment going. Busted a finger today while changing a couple of flats. DID NOT say dog-gone-it
Hopefully this will cheer you up @RPMdawg. (If only Marisa Tomei worked in your shop!)
Have watched that a couple of times. Mostly because of Marisa. Would hire her on the spot but require her to talk with that accent all the time
@AnotherDawg wouldnt let me quote you again. Wanted to add. Love the way she said "positive traction" later in the movie
I am in love with her. And have you seen the new Spider-Man? She is still smoking. And she is an eyeful in The Wrestler
Ditto. If you liked her in the Wrestler check out When the Devil Knows You're Dead.
