When will Washington be back on campus. I’d love to have Arik and Washington on the same weekend.
Thought I saw something about the scavenger hunt, but not certain.
2018 Scavenger Hunt List:
Nolan Smith - Dawg
Arik Gilbert - ???
Nakobe Dean - Dawg
Jermaine Johnson - Dawg
Rian Davis - Dawg
Tyrique Stevenson - Dawg
(7 other came but didn’t not commit to the G in the end, 2 decommited, 1 was not heavy pursued in the end and 1 “squeezed out”)
Essentially 50% 5-10 here for ‘19 with a majority being 5star prospects.
Henry Gray getting some more ??? CBs, sounds like that OSU “lock” door is cracking open.
Get him on campus , maybe for the scavenger hunt, and let the other FL DBs work on him. Would be great to pair up with Kimber and Ringo 😉
@CZCashvilleDawg since slots are tight, if you had to pick between Gray and McGlothern who would the choice be? I like those SoFlo DB’s but I can’t say the competition out in Texas isn’t up to **** either.
CZCashvilleDawg Georgia is going to lose D'Marcus Hayes for sure. So two tackles would be Hayes and most likely Andrew Thomas. If Georgia is as good as I think they will be in 2019. I think they may also lose Isaiah Wilson along with Solomon Kindley and Ben Cleveland. Both Solomon and Ben will be red-shirt juniors or scholastic seniors. This is not bad but good because Georgia seems to be loading up on O-linemen this year. A 2020 O-line of LT Cade Mays, LG Jamaree Salyer, C Trey Hill, RG Justin Shaffer, RT Owen Condon with Warren Ericson, Clay Webb and Warren McClendon would look very good.
@Muffingod Gray > McGlothern.
Gray vs Pouncey would be tight.
@oldon42 That was a quote from Tate himself, not by me. Tate says and is referring to guys leaving early / starters leaving (Thomas and Wilson). Hayes is a non factor here.
My 2020 lineup would look something like this:
LT Cade Mays
LG Clay Webb
C Trey Hill,
RG Jamaree Salyer (put better guard paired with new tackle / if Cleveland is there, Flip the guard spots)
RT Owen Condon / Warren McClendon / Truss / B Jones (ideally Cleveland comes back and takes this spot)
I seriously doubt that 4 of the 5 starting o-line leave early for the pros. Cleveland has yet to start for an entire season. He did not start in 2017 until after the Auburn game and as we all know, he was hurt at Missouri last year and missed the end of the season. Thomas will be a 3 year starter so he is likely gone. I also doubt that Kindley leaves early. Guards are not a highly valuable position in the NFL plus a number of college tackles are converted to guard in the NFL. Wilson will depend on the type of year that he has this year.
I have Thomas 100% (barring injury), Wilson 90%, Kindley and Cleveland <50%
If Kindley has a good season, his stock probably won’t get any higher coming back. Could see him with a 3rd round grade ceiling if he tests well. (Again based on having a quality season, baring injury of course too)
3 of the top 5 guards are juniors and 4 of top 10 in the draft for tonight. If Kindley or Big Ben get a top 10 grade for their position they gone.

The top ranked guard (according to Walter Football) is Cody Ford, who played right tackle at Oklahoma and many believe can play tackle in the NFL. Erik McCoy, who is rated third, Michael Jordan, rated 4th, and McGovern, rated 7th, have versatility because they can play guard or center. Ryan Bates, rated 9th, played tackle at Penn State. There is not a guard only junior rated in the top 10. Right now, Cleveland and Kindley are both guard only, particularly Kindley. Cleveland may have a chance to slide out to right tackle in 2020 if Wilson leaves early.
Also, it is hard to take Walter Football too seriously when they have Wilson listed as attending Ohio State. Just saying.
Walters or Charlie’s ?
