Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Just watched Sewell's tape, and I'm just not sold that he has the speed to play LB in the SEC. Especially in Kirbys Scheme. Looks like a guy that needs to put on 20 LBs and put his hand in the ground as a DE in a 4-3. Seems like he plays for a big time school since he was in a different jersey for every game lol (I can see why his CB is 100% Oregon). I'm no expert at all, just my humble opinion.
He ran a 4.7 and is 260 lbs. Devin White ran a 4.7 and was 258 in high school. They got him down to 240 at LSU and he ran a 4.4 at the combine.
But also, I think this isn’t a bad thing, bc I do think he could play DL too if it’s easier to put weight on him. He just checks a lot of boxes for me. Athletic freak (247 mods words not mine), instinctual defensive player, hard hitter. I give him a shot and see where he develops, but I would put his ceiling as outer space.
His competition is awful though...it looks he’s about to commit murder on half of those tackles.
Also fyi, Flowe has about the same 40 time.
I can get the cause for concern. And I dont think he plays the best competition. But he's compared to Devin White but is already at ILB (White transitioned here). He's also kind of big for his position and weight. I think he loses some pounds and he's in a good spot as far as his speed. But he does have good form and angles.
Gotta be a top teams right? I'd think Gilbert is the top guy with Theo and Washington tied second level. Any insight?
The tape that we all have access to is highlight tape put together by the player or a hired recruiting service.
Coaches/recruiters have access to full game tape and many games. We only have access to the kids best plays. The coaches have access to the bad plays as well.
Pretty much what you said there, is my thoughts.
All this recruiting I hope the NCAA comes to terms with players getting paid off likeness so I can play NCAA FOOTBALL 2020 Lol
Miami fans seem pretty confident they're getting Theo Johnson's commitment. Perhaps they are, don't know much about his recruitment🤷
The only way Lloyd would be a target for Clemson is if UGA offers Pryor and he decommits. While it’s certainly possible UGA offers at some point, I doubt it happens. UGA is in too good of a spot with better RB’s to offer Pryor. Pryor fits a need for Clem, not so much UGA with the ‘backs on the board still. To my eyes, it seems like Lloyd may have released a “Top 3” similar to the way Jalen Carter did. Yes, there’s 3 schools there, but only one is a serious contender if you catch my drift
My information leads me to believe that this is not the Kendall Milton plan. He does not hope to have this decision wrapped by the Opening this summer.
Miami fans were also confident that they would beat Pitt in 2017.
Would give this a 10X up button if I could. Services by and large will compare players based on their best plays. It is a matter of resources. The camp evals play a large part, too.
An elite program like Georgia compares their targets based on their worst plays. That is a bigger component than most folks realize.
Those "busts" or "D'ohs" or times the other kid who will not be playing major college football made them quit do not hide from the eye in the sky.
