Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

And it's from Luke Stampini plus the only CB this year. Both of the Miami CB are from over 2 years ago.
They’re saying we paid him 150,000 K to live in Athens with his baby and baby mama over on Florida’s board. 😂😂😂
Probably cost more than that for Mullet to dress out Grandma in uniform and have photo taken with him. Maybe if he had included great granny in the shoot that would have made the difference.
For 3-4 years, not bad haha
Loser’s mentality. When you’re failing, it must be someone’s fault outside of Gainesville. Easier to put that out vs. accepting the inferiority of their program in comparison to UGA. We’ve been there. Stage 1=Denial.
They'll come back with 1980. My gut tells me they won’t be able to use that after the 19 season.
Your post put visions of a 2019 natty in my head, it felt good
At this point, we should be past the “rankings don’t mean anything” comments. Way too much historical data to back up their significance.
That’s akin to saying that vaccines are worthless because you didn’t get the flu last year.
football speed > track speed. Definitely a real thing
Truly believe we have everything in place. Barring injury I can’t see a scenario, looking at the competition that we won’t finally win.
Primary offensive weapons are in year 3+, perfect blend of talent and experience. We have the best in the country, who have been through a playoff run and experienced failure to get back (perspective). Not only do they know what to do, they know how to do it.
OL has 5 NFL players starting, 80% year 3+. See above.
Defensive backfield garners veteran leadership, with elite talent and speed on the edges. Versatility with youth, and the “youngens” have been touted as being some of the most mature young men to enter the program.
DL has veteran leadership with two guys in Clark and Herring that are true havoc impact players. If Davis is healthy, everyone slides into their natural position. Add in guys who have seen 4+ years of how to be successful and I think they’ll be good enough.
LBs remain the mystery. They’re the most talented group in country, but the alpha hasn’t emerged yet. Ideally Crowder leads the way in the middle, and someone emerges to be something like a Rennie Curran/Quan Smith type. OLB, they got the juice but have to show it. Objectively, we’re in wait and see mode.
We have the best kicker in the country, nuff said.
Camarda will improve, we hope.
Finally staff, year 4. First 3 years have provided a wealth of experience. The trust is finally there on defense to cut the offense loose. We won’t see a fake punt in a championship game because we won’t need it.
I was thinking about that yesterday, what will florida's 1980 comeback turn into WHEN we win it all this year?...I'm thinking they'll prolly say something like, "Nan-na nan-na boo-boo, y'all only won 2 titles in 40 years".
Just watched some highlights of Avantae Williams. I’ve always been one of those fans that would rather us not take a safety, but load up at corner. After watching the tape on Williams, I wouldn’t mind us scooping him up. Has great ball skills and is not afraid to hit whatsoever. Also could contribute as a return man. This could just be an overreaction, but I doubt it
He’s being recruited as a CB. Depending on #’s, looking like 3 DBs taken this class, all versatile. Kimber, Ringo, & Williams.
Sucks to see Mcglothern get the boot, seemed to really like the dawgs
Jumping to a different player, I'm getting a bad feeling about Burch. I know what @ClemTown wrote a couple weeks ago, but I just can't see Clemson passing on a talent like Burch. And if we're being honest, if Clemson shows Burch he's wanted, they're getting him.
Semantics but that’s a strongly worded statement. Numbers are tight. I should probably post the scenarios but it’ll be a long post. If we can take 4 DBs I think Mcglothern has as good as chance as any to be in class. Williams is a versatile piece though and he brings something im not sure we have next season.
