Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I not an expert, and would love to have both, I just am not totally sold on Milton.
I mean, it makes sense. Gurley chubb and Michel are all time UGA greats and Lloyd could join them but imagine being the FIRST legendary back. Being USCjr's herschel walker would be objectively pretty cool. He will always be our biggest legend and always be a star and have a home in athens, why not try and set that up for yourself.
Why will he struggle with weight?
They have their legend in George Rogers and they also have their "if only" in Marcus Lattimore.
Kendall Milton reminds me a lot ofbMelvin Gordon he can bust a few plays wide open here and there but for the most part he can he a workhorse that gets a consistent 4 to 5 yards a carry.
Zachary Evans on the other hand reminds me of hybrid of Zeke and Barkley. He is a threat every time with the ball and space. He just has to focus and finish up better (saw his state gsme). *crazy he could be the second best Texas RB ever if he just lives to hype (kinda hard to beat AP)
If we could talk to Dell directly, in confidence, I’d imagine his take is very similar.
I just don't know how anyone on this board can provide much detail on these players. Unless the player is on your local high school team and you can watch him every Friday night.
There is not enough available to the public to be able to properly evaluate.
Some on here may have accurate information on what the coaches opinions are - and that could be credible info.
If the coaches are going hard for a player - just know that player is really good. If they aren't going hard - doesn't mean player isn't good - just may not be a fit.
He won’t burn as many calories as he eats/drinks
@texdawg i live in Texas as far as Evans goes so I see a lot of North Shore. They aren't world beaters just a lot of good players and a star.
Milton I saw live twice once while I was at a convention and once on a recorded game.
My point is - how do you know this?
I've never seen the eating habits rating system on any recruiting site.
@texdawg , I’ve said this to a few people, and it’s obviously a feeling, not a science or even a very informed opinion. I see Milton, and I see a pretty high floor guy, but he looks like to me that he might be like many of Bama’s have been over the past 10 years, which is to say “very effective” without being absolutely elite. Other than Derrick Henry, would any of you guys take any other Bama guy over Gurley, Chubb, Michel, or Swift? Richardson and Ingram were great behind an absolutely elite OL. Drake and Yeldon were really good. Both the Harris’s were very solid and Scarborough was okay. Jacobs was really good, but he doesn’t fit into that 5 star/high 4 star archetype like Milton does. I want to see a true RBU and OLU to be UGA at the same time.
Good point. A 5 yard thumper will go a long way in our offense behind the GWOG. We will get the homerun guy too.
That makes sense. Most on here haven't had that much access to players. My bad.
Although I may disagree with your North Shore opinion. I thought they were really good. But you've seen them much more than I have.
Your evaluation may very well prove correct. I guess I just have a difficult time evaluating or giving opinions on players with such limited information.
I base much on who Georgia really wants. And I admit I rely on @SoFL_Dawg for that info.
Now, I had an educated evaluation of Lewis Cine because of all the game film I had of him because of common opponents.
@texdawgYeah, I mean, you’re definitely not wrong. Honestly, I’m splitting hairs too. Milton definitely looks like a top 5 back in this class to me...I’m just not absolutely sold on his upside.
But it’s not something I feel very strongly about. I’m not going to get worked up about it...it’s just a fun thing to discuss...if that makes sense.
