Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Tate doing his part
You would think that pro bono work would be considered a payment of sorts, but maybe the NCAA thinks he's far enough removed it doesn't count? Regardless, the optics would be bad if they punished Emery, so they'll stay a mile away from that.
Dad’s brother, not immediate family member. I’m sure the lawyer has it air tight on reason they provided service pro bono.
Bottom line is we just got beat, on and off the field. If you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you with.
*** Also, at times we can forget these heralded recruits are still kids.
Lets remember to talk about them with respect, as they or their family members could be getting this information and we should refrain from turning into “that fan base”
That’s an unwinnable war, but someone has to fight it.
Thanks for that info. Like you I think the stacked backfield was nonsense he definitely would've got carries this year no doubt about it, he is legit. But all the other reasons you name make sense now.
How in the hell is the 3rd ranked QB sitting at 81? The rankings this year are weird. Had like 90 5 star rb’s a few days ago lol.
@SoFL_Dawg You forgot to use quotation marks with the words pro bono. 😏
UGA Oklahoma Ohio St
(I tried to find support for this a week + ago. So correct as needed.)
Didn’t Emery’s father make comments about insincerity of the UGA coaches - indirectly? Very vague, but not favorable? I did find where he said it was his son’s decision and he had to give him time to figure it out on his own. (“It” was like +|- UGA roster depth.)
My belief is that Emery wanted UGA but everything but his mother was pulling him away. And by everything, I include YKW.
Yes he did. My #4 point. Like him, love him, or hate him, that QB at osu has a gravitational pull for sure and yes staff benefited from that as it related to recruiting.
