Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Wonder if he de-committed from Miami because Miami wasn't keen on him reclassifying to the 2020 class? 247sports has him as 6' 4" and 210 lbs. He would be = underweight HS senior playing SEC ball. Speaking of Donell Harris, DE for those without a program.
I think he misunderstood. We told Evans no to make room for George, smh
Leonard Floyd spent a year at prep school after HS. So instead of entering the SEC in what would be Donnell Harris traditional Senior year of HS it was Leonard Floyds Sophomore year even though he was technically still a Freshman in the NCAA's eyes.
I was thinking the same thing!!! Evans is overrated and George is a diamond in the rough!!!
247 has him as the #1 WDE, #1 player in Florida, and #4 overall player for 2021 FWIW.
When comparing him to HS sophomores about to be juniors. Some kids for his class haven't even started or played a varsity game yet. He had that rating with the understanding that he would have 2 years to develop. Not saying he isn't good or going to be, and I also haven't seen any of his tape before making this comment. Just saying that if we take him in this class with how stacked we already are and how tight numbers for 2020 are especially with a scholarship kicker, he must be crazy good.
Your friend is most likely incorrect. They have one 3Star OLB commit for 2020 and a total of 16 commits.
Miami would “make room” for a 5 star at ANY position.
My guess with Harris is, after his visits to Bama, UGA, Scar etc.; He realized the drastic differences in SEC ball / facilities vs that of Miami and his heart and head told him to reopen his recruitment.
Will be an interesting recruitment going forward.
Good point on the D formation
