We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I don’t think it would prove your point as he likely had a private trainer in the time between the season ending and the combine.
and I don’t think its fair to look at one player and use that to say our S&C program is objectively better. An OU fan could do the same with Nauta.
Only if Nauta gets in shape in the NFL and ends up way faster than he tested. There's a difference in just not having the potential.
The NFL Combine was about 2 months after Orlando's last game. Are you telling me he got that out of shape in 2 months? I just don't buy it. It wasn't just his poor performance, the dude looked flabby. Your body doesn't transform that much in 2 months.
Yea but one player doesn’t define a S&C program.
You can definitely transform your body to being out of shape in 2 months . Hell, i gained 10 pounds over 4th of July weekend despite already being flabby.
There will never be an OL at UGA as long as Sinclair is here that looked like Brown did at the Combine. Programs like Bama, Clemson, and UGA don't have players that look like that unless they have injuries that take them out for months. It says a lot that he got in much better shape with the Ravens too.
That's absolutely a selling point for UGA, and you're crazy if you don't think coaches say stuff like that all the time. It doesn't have to hold up in court.
He would’ve looked similar had went to any of those schools.
@mantis_toboggan69
How the hell do you know that? It's not provable either way, but I could not disagree more. Our players transform. Bama's players transform.
"- Redshirt freshman offensive lineman Owen Condon is another guy who has come a long way. He's a full-grown man in just a year at UGA, likely pushing 320 pounds. Smart commented this spring about how many gains he has made in the strength program and you could tell that by seeing him today."
Wow. That's impressive.
I'm happy to see that. I'm rooting to see him do big things.
Brown had to fight for a spot. Wynn was looking like a day 1 starter til injury.
Not to mention Cordy Glenn and David Andrews are guys better. Clint Boling as well as Ben Jones have carved out well positioned roles as well.
Diet and hardcore exercise can really change how you look. I'm not sure how this is even an argument to be honest. I don't think OU is as intense about it. Their players do not look like our players. It's the old "getting off the bus" argument. They say that Bama wins as soon as they get off the bus because of their reputation and just how physically imposing they are compared to other teams. A large part of that is recruiting, but a large part of that is S&C.
I bet Brown doesn't look like the same guy since he's been successful in the NFL.
Brown has said himself that he’s “not a lifter”. When I said he changed his body’s dramatically I was referencing him going from 24% body Fat to 19% in about 6 months. He’s been In an NFL program for over a year now and still looks relatively the same.
Continuing to use anecdotal evidence is elementary. Baker Mayfield gained substantially more muscle at Texas Tech And Oklahoma than Fromm has here. So they’ve got better programs, right?
Scott Cochran was one of the folks CKS tried to hire, but coach Saban gave him a big raise and he stayed at Bama. CKS did hire Scott Sinclair away from Marshall and UGA is a better program for that hire
Well first off, QB is a completely different animal, and I don't agree with your Mayfield assessment at all. Fromm looked a little too big last year in my opinion. I think he needs to be leaner, but that's being real picky.
My point about the body fat % is that it wouldn't happen at UGA. His body fat would've been maximized or close to it before the combine. My entire point is that OU did not get close to maximizing his body, and I think UGA does on a player by player basis.
