Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Just shows where UGA stands nationally. “I have Alabama and Georgia forsure” then basically everyone else. Hope the dawgs can get him
FWIW I have him to Alabama in my mock but hope I'm wrong
At this point, it's obvious we're getting two elite RBs. One is very likely Milton but the other is very much up in the air. Is it cool that I don't care who the other one is? I mean, do you doubt that any of the 4 or 5 names floating around will be successful behind the WoG? I have zero.
I think I could get us 2-3 yards per carry behind our line. I mean, I know how to run straight forward so I should be good, right?
Burton shouldn't make a big distinction between his use in the LSU offense and UGA's, right? If anything, he should prefer the Dawgs. So, is it being out of state that is the attraction, or crawfish pie, filé gumbo, or?
LSU has 6 offensive commits so far, 3 WR of which Burton is #3, 2 QB overall ranking of 179 and 334 and 1 OG ranked 650 overall. Hardly a conventional route to success. They signed 5 OL 2019 with only 2 in the top 200 and a DTQB ranked 313 overall. In 2018 2 of their top 3 signees were WR and they signed 4 OL the best of which was ranked around #300. So strong competition at WR, uncertain QB position and apparently weak OL recruiting certainly seems that LSU's offensive woes are more likely than not to continue for a while. That's why I feel that both Jarrett and Burton are likely to decommit.
QB-1
RB-2
WR-3
FLEX-2
OL-5
DL-5
LB-2
DB-4
K-1
Total: 25
Kirby will find a way to make 25 happen.
My question is do we take 4 WR or 6 DL in this scenario if we only get 4 OL?
The days of taking less than 25 are over bc of the turnover that the transfer portal has created. Programs are gonna have 4-6 kids transfer every year, 4-6 kids go pro, and 10-20 Seniors. This means you have to take 25 and get creative with who enrolls early.
It seems like Van Pran is a lock to UGA, but if we're picking up another Guard in this class I'd prefer Aaron Parks. I think he's stronger and more athletic than Van Pran.
I believe he was refering to Evans with this. In the write up he said Evans asked to reserve a spot which means a silent commit. He then went to Texas A & M and asked for the same thing (reserving a spot).
The freshmen class might not get to 25 because Cager and Wolff count toward this class.
From what I’ve read here SVP would be brought in to be the center after Webb, if Webb ends up at center
I understand that the 25 number is easier to navigate due to counting forward and back with classes. It is the 85 that is non-negotiable. We likely will not know the true total obtained until February. Needless to say, Kirby will maximize the class one way or another.
