Yes but this one is going the distance now. Lots of attention on him that wasn’t there a month ago. I read CU last week and it’s understandable just thinking about his fit in a spread offense where he can rely on his speed and not become a complete football player right away. They have the top projected QBs as well.
One thing to watch here with the recent news is what happens at WR. Are we done at 3? Do we still pursue Smith? Is Wren safe because Smith is a better football player/WR already? That’s why staff gets paid the big bucks to make tough decisions.
Personally, Smith was always my fave speed WR even when we were pursuing Henning but we’ll see.

Ive heard we want to slow down the process, and must be very confident whoever we take in 2021 is a real player. As hard as evaluating 18 year olds is I would imagine evaluating 16 year olds is a lot tougher.
What does staff look for in terms of someone that young, and being confident enough to accept commitments so soon?
As soon as I gave @JeffSentell an UV it went from 4 to 11.

I always want all SEC team to do well outside the conference - ultimately helps the Dawgs in schedule strength/playoff factors also, more painful for AU when we play them and crush their souls.

Real talk on BJ for a second. I know what he did at the opening which is geared for pass rushers, especially speed pass rushers to be successful.
Conservatively, let’s assume JJ needs some time as most coming from JUCO do. In the first 18 months, how many see BJ passing up any 3 of these guys to be on the two deep. Keep in mind he’s a pass rush specialist right now. Can he set the edge and hold contain at 225 today? AA is 225 and not yet a 3 down player and probably is a better pass rusher naturally.
Azeez, JJ, Nolan, Beal (doubt he declares early), AA. If needed, you could add R. Davis and Q. Walker to this mix. Forgot to add Sherman.
Which of these guys do y’all feel most confident in that BJ could surpass them in first 1.5 years?
EDIT: this isn’t aimed at you Midnight but wanted to highlight how deep that room remains. IMO BJ wouldn’t push the two deep for 1.5 years. This is why he hasn’t been prioritized.
