Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Don't speak it into existence 🤐
So here's my question:
With us having clearly prioritized Sewell, what happens if the unthinkable occurs? What happens if Flowe tells the staff he wants to pull the trigger and commit? Do we take him and drop the pursuit of Sewell, or take him and continue the pursuit of Sewell, or not take him at all?
This seems like an unlikely scenario to me but if that were to occur, from an outsider perspective, I'd say Flowe's a take.
However, I suspect the staff may have a high confidence level which would allow them to roll the dice and go all-in on Sewell.
While this is unlikely to happen, if Flowe wanted to commit, staff wouldn’t hesitate in taking him. There’s a lot of time and resources that are invested in pulling a OOS target, more so when going across the country. I don’t believe those resources are being invested in Flowe and it would be shocking to see him commit without that effort.
It’s too early to say who’s better, but Sewell is certainly different and Flowe looks a lot like others we have in that room currently. We can say with confidence, there isn’t a school in the last 3 cycles including 20, that’s recruiting the LB position as well as Kirby, Schu, and Lanning. That’s the reason we can afford to say we want what we don’t have.
Flowe is unlikely to choose UGA and for those that love his game, start letting yourselves down slowly and embrace Sewell’s game and the versatility he brings.
You take both and adjust to 1 TE or 3 WR.
Good stuff SoFL thanks for the info. Anyone hearing anything on Sewell lately or are things settling down for his SR season?
We’re in a great spot leading up to his OV. Just need to stay the course.
LBU, baby!
The average NFL inside linebacker is 230 to 250 lbs. The weight and size of middle linebackers has been decreasing since the game has changed to more of a passing game. Noah currently weights 266 pounds. Not many successful inside linebackers at that weight especially in this age of football. At 6'2", he really does not have the length to play outside. Is the plan for him to drop weight or will he eventually move to another position?
@SoFL_Dawg Bijan just committed to texas, so does that mean it its down to Texas A&M and UGA for Evans?
Has been for a while here bro. Been saying UGA/TAMU for at least a month.
You haven’t watched his film at all have you? Didn’t read opening reports either I take it?
I think what's so intriguing about Sewell is that he plays at 266 like he's only carrying around 225. He might get a bit leaner in our S&C program but I wouldn't expect any significant weight variance.
Sometimes there are just exceptions to the rule. Like there usually aren't 6'8" TEs.
As long as his speed is what they say it is - he may just be a freak.
But I'll admit that I'm at least mildly skeptical.
