Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

With Rich Editor the best practice to posting the gif is to copy the gif url (1), paste it in the text field(2), and then hit enter to smart embed the gif(3), and then post (4).

Tweets and links and YouTube embeds should all work the same way.

I did what you suggested but all it did was embed the link. You'd have to click the link to see what I was trying to embed as a gif.
In other words I still have no idea how to embed a gif.
Once pasted, click on "Enter" and see if that brings it up. Not sure about phone keyboards though...
How I did it: I went to the website (clicked on your link given above ^^) and then R-clicked on the image, and saved it. I then went to the Image button, found the saved gif and processed it. 😃 No longer animated, though. 😪
Sometimes a gif, isn't a gif. One must look a gif link in the mouth. ??
Yeah, I think we can all get GIFs onto the site, it's the animation that's gone. @JeffSentell

"Sometimes a gif, isn't a gif. One must look a gif link in the mouth. ??"
Guess you could also say it's not exactly the "Gif that keeps on Giving"
Forestalling discussion (if the animation works.)
Sigh! Hear me now, and believe me later, but this ^ is hot stuff whenever the animation is restored.
Disregard. Practice. Not sure how to do this on mobile
Been there done that have the visor.

Well, that didn't work.
Go, Dawgs!
That was quite an animated @JimWallace attempt on second down.
Cheers to you, sir.
Sooo, how did you do it? Have yet to get an animated gif to work.
