Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Tex, it looks like Spotify is the consensus choice. As for free vs. subscription, I'd give the former a try first then decide if you want to pay to avoid ads. In my experience that's largely a generational thing. For those of us who grew up with ads it's not a big deal, but for younger folks it really ruins the experience.
If money is no object, it's certainly worth paying the subscription rate, regardless.
I have Apple and I love it 9.99 monthly.
Never considered it generational but maybe you’re on to something.
I absolutely despise the ads interrupting my music.
I’m not as old as Tex and anotherdawg, but I grew up with the radio and ads. Not my fave but easy to ignore on music. Shows and videos they drive me bonkers
But Kasey..... I feel so young
The only thing worse than ads on radio were morning talk show hosts who tried to be funny for 4 hours.
I have Apple Music thrown in free as part of my Verizon unlimited cell phone plan and think it is great. If I had to pay, not sure which I would choose.
