Hard to recall a worse week for Georgia sports

Certainly there have been worse, but I can’t remember one at the moment. Someone remind me when it’s been worse. This was a rough one between the Braves getting sent home, the Falcons ineptitude, and then the Dawgs being upset. Even worse, I’ve checked the news and it appears the Hawks still exist as a franchise.

    On an individual basis yes.

If you're a GA sports fan then the sudden onslaught of borderline supernatural destruction from this weekend was soul crushing

Yes the general idea is you can almost argue that this week with multiple teams playing was so bad it had to be rock bottom. I actually thought Arizona would beatdown the Falcons, what transpired in reality was worse. I hate to see such a good guy in Bryant looking as distraught as he was, but it's about over for him man.

The Hawks aren't even a bad case, they will be an interesting bad team again and sometimes its just easier to handle teams that aren't going to be good. At least they should be. The early half of last season was horrible but once the page was turned to 2019 they were usually a fun team to watch.
