national Bittersweet Chocolate And Almonds Day

Wasn't much to read on this (actually nothing to read) but the word bittersweet caught my attention. Yesterday's win was bittersweet for some Dawg fans. Factors converged to make a slow offensive day for 3 quarters (bitter) with a nice surge at the end (sweet). Not sure what the almonds would be...maybe a ray of hope for improvement over the next couple of weeks?

At the least, a Hershey's bar might be nice sometime today.

This is a good omen Don.

Going back to biblical times, the Hebrew word for almond tree means "wakeful and/or hastening," (on account of the almond tree blossoming earlier than other fruit trees, generally in February, and sometimes even in January.)

Hopefully this signals an awakening for the Dawgs offense, just in time for Jax.
