Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

it should’ve been a long time ago. UGA has the resources, but just needed a guy like Crean to make it happen. he’s going to lock down the state.
Taylor and Thor were supposed to be a package deal but I'm hearing staff dropped the ball on Thor and he's going to look elsewhere.
Nigel Foster, top 5 nationally in class of 21, was in town for an official for ND game. Hearing it went well but not a done deal there.
Foster got a CB from a Arizona state insider. Huge.
here’s a pic i got of some recruits from ND. I noticed Kowacie Reeves, Josh Taylor (2020 commit), and Jusaun Holt.
UGA is bringing in JUCO transfers Mikal Starks and Johnathan Ned
I hope Crean knows what he is doing. The PG Starks was unrated coming out of high school, and shot 13% 3s his only juco season. WTH? Gives me bad feelings for how Fall recruiting is going.
Must be a packaged deal. His teammate, a 6'9 small forward looks promising.
I believe they are thin at PG, so could just be a slim pickings kind of thing for depth, but @brentwilson would know better than me.
Well we’re going to lose 4 guards next year, so it will be nice to have upperclass guards brought in.
Good defense and was 5th gaurd up on roster last year will probably be the starter this year
4 star guard KD Johnson commits to the Dawgs!

do the stars in hoops mean about the same thing as in FB? Not that they necessarily mean much in FB all the time, but I'm curious...I wonder how many 5* and 4* players there are in hoops.
That's a good question Don, and I don't know the answer. I will say that ANY 4-star commitment for Georgia basketball is a good thing, and KDJ is rated the #23 PG in the country, so he's definitely worth having on board.
I think we still have 2-3 years before we can start scrutinizing Coach Crean's recruiting classes the way we do Kirby's. For now it's just all good, 'cause it's clearly better than what we've had in a LONG time.
Generally, same number of 5 stars, but not nearly as many 4 stars. Everyone below about 140-150 is generally a 3 star.
thanks
Something close to: 1-50 = 5 star, 51-150 = 4 star
