Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Watching UGA grad T.J. Adeshola on Finebaum. Never heard of him but apparently he's Twitter's "Head of U.S. Sports." I was impressed. He represented himself, his company, and our university very well in the interview.
I don't use Twitter personally, and my impression is that it's a net negative for our culture. But I recognize many people use it and get a lot of benefit from it. I know athletes love posting stuff on Twitter, and it seems to be an integral part of recruiting these days. I also know my brother gets his news by following specific media outlets on Twitter, rather than watching TV or visiting web sites.
I'm curious how many of y'all use it, in what ways, and what are some of the best/worst things about it in your experience?

Only use it to follow recruiting and I like to follow my favorite musicians. That's it.
I love music- can you tell me about following musicians? Is that just to keep up with new releases, concert dates, or what?
I use it so the president can yell at me /s
but I follow comedians, writers, sports personalities, and some news people I trust. Check it once or twice a day.
You can follow musicians who will usually post tour dates and album release info
Yeah that's it...concert dates and such like you mentioned. Some of the mainstream singers like to post politics, luckily my favs do not.
I have it to only tweet at recruits
I have a computer and forums. I have a phone and text. That's it. The forums are my "social media" and that is it. Don't do Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc. I don't knock those who do, but I just really don't need it for for my lifestyle.
LOL
Same same.
I have a Facebook too but I have not checked it since halftime of the 2017/18 national championship game.
I just remembered that I have a facebook acct.. Opened 2-3 years ago because I needed an account to access something I wanted to read. Never used it. Don't even remember my password but get emails that I have something like 200 notifications. How is that even possible?
Unless you have followers that would try to notify you,
Nobody that knows me would ever even dream that I had Facebook acct
For some reason the rest of my post didn't show up. It was supposed to say:
Unless you have followers that would try to notify you, it's probably ads, maybe? I'm not really sure.🤷
@Kasey sometimes cuts people's posts off. Usually when they've had too much to drink.
🤣
