Agreed. I think @Bankwalker kinda hit it on the head.
Yes. @Bankwalker said it great. Didn't read his before I posted.
We’ve had a tough time with offensive coaching, strategy, and innovation this year.
Not quite fair to Cook. Brown threw Kindly aside like a rag doll on that play and made the tackle at the line
You may be onto something here...........Wonder if we should start a thread on it.........../jk 😉
Given the mixed bag and youth at receiver , no real TE threat to catch balls and a patched up O line ....I’d say the coaching , strategy etc has been B+ ....maybe even an A if we knew what the coaches know .... we are headed to the SECC with a win we are in the CFP.... so let’s see what happens .... not many teams sitting where we are ...... and btw ..... 👀weather for Athens Sat ...... rain y’all .... so start getting ready for KY plays and strategy ..... it’s going to be a grind ball control game ...low scoring ..... just get ready so there will not be too much vitriol Sat night
I just dont think cook is in the 3 deep and possibly Kmac is better. He seems to get brought down by arm tackles and is only effective with a lot of space, and as you may or may not know, we arent getting much space.
Cook is misused sooo badly. This guy should be a slot WR. He could also get 2 to 3 touches in the run game but he would be a matchup nightmare in the slot.
His shifty athleticism is perfect design for slot...much like Edelman or Welker. I know he runs the buddle and swing routes but maybe he has a brain fart on throws down the field. I dunno but it would seem obvious to let him run those out routes from the slot or down the seam. His agility would break ankles.
You think he’s a more polished slot receiver than DRob, Kearis and Dom? Because those are the guys you want to take off the field.
I'm gonna use your thread to pose an extreme head-scratcher.
In Kirby's Monday presser he said they don't trick or "sceme" other team/players....they just try to match our best against their best.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't scheming, by definition, the same thing as coaching against a given opponent?? Point being this goes to heart of my dawg crews theory of our inconsistent offense this year. Is CKS trying to stubbornly prove that his elite recruits are just going to have to out athlete every single team without any creativity? I'm lost & don't have the drone technology to be in the meeting rooms so maybe somebody else has a thought on it.
*don't take this as me hating on Kirb, wouldn't have anybody else but the gastrointestinal distress of these games are killing me...and others I'm sure.
BOOM!
How do we know Cook is a playmaker?
Maybe if you moved away from trying to dissect his every word to suit your agenda.
That's it, you nailed it. It's all about me
Drone technology.
You just opened my eyes to what the future is really going to look like. One day everyone will have a drone, just like everyone has a smart phone now. And wealthy people will have a fleet of drones. Some will be large and powerful, perhaps armed for defense of a business or home. Others will be tiny and virtually silent, so they can act like a fly on the wall. These will be used for military and corporate espionage, or maybe by a private investigator hired to follow a cheating spouse.
So why not by a rabid college football fan to listen in on his team's meetings?
