Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

You have multiple whining and female 🐕 threads available. This is 2020 recruiting
Xavier Henderson (4 star WR) set to take OV to uf this weekend.
OV to UGA 10-19 / OV to Bama 9-27. (Lots of trips to uf, due to proximity and brother)
Scheduled to announce commitment Jan 4th.
UGA is in this, but is probably in 3rd. Could he have his final OV scheduled with Clemson ? (Could depend how this weekend goes id guess). Would a Clemson commit here help the Dawgs with Arian Smith ? (Lets hope so)
So in a BPA scenario could we end up with 6 WRs in this class?
@BillerGenieDawg welcome back.....love your takes.
How did your fire Tray Scott and DL issues hold up buddy.
You nailed that one.
Could happen and not saying it wont but i doubt that happens. 4 is probably the target (what i perfer), with 5 being a possibility.
To me, it will depend on who these 4-5 are and how many are “college ready” out of the gate. (Dom / GP).
Rosemy looks ready, 2 deep, day 1.
Wren will need some time to become a WR (but will have other qualities we can use day 1).
JRob, some say he will need time but im not so sure. I think working with T Edwards has been a huge benefit for him and could help him see the field earlier than most expect. (Mid year contributor). Has the size advantage on Bush (speed favors Bush) and looks to have good hands (over Landers).
A Smith - Speed and already plays the position coming out of HS. Will take sometime to acclimate to SEC college ball, but should be a contributor Year 1.
Flemming - See Smith, just a notch below on Speed
(4 is my target as id like to take advantage of the deep ‘21 instate class, along with continued FL cherry picking for another 4 spot of WRs)
Thanks for the rundown. 4 was more what I was thinking as well but some newer names have been mentioned with us as candidates the last 1-2 weeks. As we all saw with Sewell last week things can change. It just got me thinking about BPA scenarios and could 5-6 WRs be more likely. 6 WRs seemed a little high for roster management unless the staff see 1-2 of them potentially moving to DB ala Webb.
Isn’t Zy walker supposed to commit sometime this week?
Yes, hopefully tomorrow
James Franklins name heating up with FSU, could be a positive for the Dawgs and Theo Johnson
It could help with TJ but could that be a net loss for us overall, though? I would say Kirby's dominance in recruiting has definitely benefited in FSU's downfall the last 3-4 yrs. If Franklin were to go there does anyone doubt he would have them winning 10+ and competing in a weak ACC within 1-2 yrs max? It would be 1 more marquee program to compete with on the trail. Feels like our recruiting battles with them have been essentially non- existant recently. Probably an even bigger headache for MuLLLen, though.
Yeah, I’m liking us having an easy time in Miami. Franklin would make that a bit harder.
itll balance it out. We need FSU or Miami to offer some resistance to Clemson. He’ll get some south GA kids for sure. To add a lil hate into it, he hasn’t exactly set the recruiting trail ablaze at PSU.
We still have the best recruiting staff in the country as currently constructed.
You can look at it that way, but at some point FSU will hit on a coach. Those battles for S.GA and FL kids with them will be back, only a matter of time.
I tend to look at the Now positives, so to speak. Give me TJ and we deal with FSU later.
FSU would also hurt uf which benefits us too.
We have a stud staff and can compete with anyone to get who we want.
Where is chatter coming from? Doesn't make sense.
Why would Pennsylvania guy leave Penn State for FSU? Why would anyone leave Penn state for FSU?
I guess showing interest helps get a contract extension.
