Dawg fans, Let’s stay cool on all this until early signing day, December 18th. Then we’ll see how the class stacks up. If anyone can make heads or tails out of recruiting, they are a better person than me...

Could this be the first signs of what many have expected? When you stay ultra conservative, run up the middle most every first and second down into a stacked box, mostly throw the ball when you absolutely have to, and throw many of your passes to the running backs in the backfield, this is going to make top-flight receivers veer away from this program. This is why a sole strategy of stout defense and a hope the O-line can “wear them down in the fourth” is a dinosaur approach. How could a top receiver showcase his skills in such a scenario? Frankly this same plan likely will hurt QB recruiting as well. QB asked to hand the ball off a good bit of the time, limited short passes, and a coach suppressing big play potential by instilling terror of a mistake....bring Bobo back as OC and open this thing up. Got to have unpredictability and aggressiveness back and HC sticking to the defensive side of the team.

The commitments that matter are the ones who show up to play. All the others are more to fill the media hype and draw attention.

The most consistent thing about UGA football is the predictable flock of "chicken little's" ready to assume the worst of everything. And it's always the same group of folks. Get a life fellas...

We honestly have a chance with each one of these 4 star players. I hate we couldn't hold on to Wren his speed is dangerous. Now we must regroup and hopefully get our men ! Go Dawgs ! Im hoping for A.Smith, Rosemy, Robinson, Burton and Fleming ! We need to recharge that WR room . Go Dawgs !

So, we lose a 3* and our 247 average ranking goes up. Kirby is going to sign 23 or 24 players when it is all said and done. Without Wren, the only 3* we have committed is a kicker and with kickers 3* = 5*. Why all the over reaction, sky is falling, pure garbage concerning a kid that will virtually guaranteed be replaced with a higher ranked player. UGA and Clemson are tied for the highest average ranking per commit in all of D-1. Kirby is going to keep on keeping on bringing quality players to UGA in unprecedented numbers! Go Kirby! Go DAWGS!

Best wishes to the young man, I was surprised that we accepted his commitment, but chalked it up to the "trust the coaches" category. Maybe the coaches realized that this young man is not quite what we need in this class and they have their sights set on a bigger fish.

What do you mean?the Dawgs are on par with the last 2 seasons. The kid heard about Smith and Fleming possibly coming and backed out.

So we have an all American qb in beck and a top ten wr in Rosemy committed right now. I don’t understand your point elite recruits will flock to this program win or lose this weekend it’s our third title game in a row that means something.

Honestly can u blame he. It is going to be hard to convince these offensive guys to come play. The receivers, the tight ends. I wouldn't wanna play here and I'm a life long dawg fan. Maybe the offense will show out in the championship game. But im doubtful. Great as the defense is we gotta score 30 to win

Again, that's why no one should read too much into a teenagers' 'commitment'.

Still searching for top notch WR's this late in the game for 2020? . Yeh, they're dying to come to UGA. Perception is reality to these guys. Don't think other coaches aren't saying, "Why do you want to go and be a blocker for a run first offense and maybe catch 3 balls a game?

Winning cures everything. I can’t help but believe that LSU is the hottest thing in town right now with these guys with all of their offense and who could blame the kids for being drawn to it. The 500# gorrila in the room is what’s going to happen after burrows graduates and the co offensive coordinator takes one of these coaching vacancies. You know it’s going to happen, just wonder what the fall out is going to be. It’s exciting and curious to see why the coaching staff is so quiet about recruits and visits.

    go dawgs!!

Not hard to read the tea leaves on this one. Seems to happen every year. An early 3-star commit suddenly decommits for nonspecified reasons, Dawgnation.com writes an article about it, and eventually that spot gets filled with a more coveted late commit. That's just how Recruiting has evolved, right or wrong.
