Looks like Wren is trending to ASU now, good for him. They were in his “final” 3 afterall.
Did see where Tenn is trying to make a move in on Wren. Hope he spurns them and heads out west
No way to answer that but it certainly wouldn’t hurt us. Can’t say that we get eeerrrrbody following a win either.
Ha! Yeah,, I have no idea who that is... just saw it elsewhere and thought that was the tweet he mentioned.
Amen. Stick with the one who loved you longest. Besides I like what Herm is trying to do out there.
Who? /s ?
Could Tank really be next with the flip. noticed earlier in thread that Tank is 5 star on 247 Composite and runs a 4.51 40. He was named mvp at the rivals opening this summer that Milton also attended and looked good catching ball out of backfield. Cannot believe we’re at the point of saying no to a 5 star Georgia RB. I guess that’s a good thing but not convinced.
I guess at this point we would not be saying no to a 5 star if we accepted a flip. A better way of saying it would be it took a lot of guts to slow play a 5 star in the making who wants to play at UGA.
I’d take him at this point. Regardless of outcome, staff was justified in taking or targeting the players they felt best suited for the program.
We can highlight his ranking climb but it’s important to note why he climbed. He got better. His measurables, speed, all of that improved from his 3rd to 4th year.
Dell had every reason to slow play him. He felt like he had his #1 target AND arguably the most talented back this class. To be frank, he had both but you can’t plan for what went down with Evans.
If Tank wants to flip at this point, take him as BPA. Haven’t heard any chatter around this happening. It could be in the works though. If he decides to jump aboard, this will be a complete 180 from how his views on UGA were described a few months ago (behind the scenes) when he chose the barn.
I don’t see the Home run every time he touches the ball like Waddle. Waddle is a little bit Heavier and the change of direction and burst he has is second to none.
Coming out of high school I believe he was clocking low 4.5 but his game speed is what sets him apart. As you can see no one catches him. Prolly a 4.3 laser guy at the combine.
I’d have to search but I think he was 4.3 verified out of HS.
Where's Terry Godwin at? He went to tanks high school and would be able to speak with tank anytime right?
Wouldn’t doubt it , I just read it was verified 4.5 and his 100 meter pr is 10.68 in 2015 and his 2016 was 10.84 . No denying he’s the fastest game speed player on the field but track and 40 numbers are a little different. I think Ruggs will clock a high 4.2 maybe low 4.3 laser. Laser time is no joke and anything that low is blazing. You can see the 4.33 Mecole ran and how it translates. So smooth coming up out of his first step, knees high at full stride and perfect sprinter form. Him and tyreke hill on the field at the same time is crazy.
Always appreciate your take. Just looking back on the RB recruitment this year it just shows how far we’ve come that we could take that risk.
Who do you like best. Smith or Fleming or Burton. Not sure if you’ve seen Burton or not but thought I’d ask about him too.
only have seen Fleming in person. If I had to choose I would go with Burton and Smith just for the differences they bring. Smith faster then Fleming and Burton an all around threat.
