Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

You’re quick on the draw, aren’t ya?
Scenario, if we keep our current DLine commits (Stack, Brinson, Carter), would you be ok with that as the class ?
If NO, (and we cant have Burch or flip Dexter) who would you target and think we have a realistic shot at flipping / gaining the commitment ?
Id be disappointed to a degree, but Carter and Brinson both look legit. I would like to add an elite edge.
Assuming everyone follows their draft grade, they all should return to school next year, but having another elite edge that wouldn't be relied on next year and could watch and develop would be ideal.
I would be extremely happy with Brinson and Carter. Haven't seen enough of Stack's film to know how he's developed this season. Although, with the way he's flirted consistently with other teams, I really don't give a d*mn.
If it was a no from Burch and Dexter, I don't think you go much farther down the board. Perhaps all in on Justin Rogers or Omari Thomas. Perhaps push really hard for a Tim Smith or Jay Hardy flip. However, I have no idea what the DL board looks like.
I think we sell Tim Smith on position coach stability after Saban's annual assistant shuffle, especially highlighting the development of Jordan Davis over the past two seasons. T Scott is building a pretty good reputation for himself: one rushing TD over 12 games is a pretty good feather in his cap.
Not to mention the number 2 rushing D in the country at 2.54 per carry. I realize the linebackers are part of the reason for this, but it starts with the D line.
Tim Smith isnt a bad option here, i wanted him in the class before.
(However it seems he has been visiting uf a lot lately, and wouldnt shock me to see him join that class)
Theo new commitment date: 12/9 1:45 PM (per his twitter acct)
Also saw scrolling through twitter that Gator fans are upset that A. Smith canceled his in home visit with Florida.
Will be interesting to see what sort of CBs roll in this time for Theo.
Also, go gators?
Gotta think the OSU beatdown at home didn't help Harbaugh's pitch to TJ although the vibe/culture in Ann Arbor is probably the closest to Ontario compared to Athens and University Park. It's also less than 2 hours from home (Windsor is across the water from Detroit).
That said - Penn State doesn't look like they're ready to challenge OSU anymore than Michigan in the coming years, either.
We'll see...
The problem is, you won’t know what Burch is going to do until one day into the early signing period. I would imagine most of the players Georgia likes will have already signed at that point.
so the fact that Georgia didn’t get Z. Walker, and you’ve heard zero about back up plans, should tell how good the staff feels about landing Burch.
CJ Stroud taking his OV to Michigan this weekend
That's kind of how I felt when I heard that he ZW was going to AU. Maybe he fell into the BPA category? Looks like we are looking at bigger fish at the moment and feel good about where we stand.
Definitely think we’re just focused on other priorities. Trying to flip the WR room this cycle. Bigger names in Burch and Dexter at DL. Targets at DB. Like the player, but I don’t blame him for making the business decision to lock it down at AU.
I wonder if Kirbs slides on down to Lagrange tonight to watch Tank/Callaway play in the semifinal game. Heard Jeff say Dell went to watch him last week. He's a local favorite around here. I know one of his teachers is a diehard UGA fan and is still in his ear about the dawgs. Maybe we can flip him....
