God I love recruiting. You guys made my day so far. If this isn't the most entertaining thread on the Forum I'll be a UF fan! Looking forward to tonight's announcements and the addition of some future Dawgs!
He may know more in general, but that's necessarily true in specific cases. Tex very well could have better sources than Kip in regards to Evans.
Kind of a weird take from you. Considering you're a blowhard, why would take a shot at someone like Tex? I assumed you knew he was respected on here and, well, you're you.

The only thing that would make it more entertaining is if Evans were flying around the country on a private plane...

Your theory is as good as any. Bottom-line, if Evans signed his LOI with UGA, then Kirby has a lot of power/say in how this unfolds.
I'm relatively certain that all of the registered members of this forum are not obsessed with all decisions of all teenagers, just the ones related to Georgia football.
He could have been Kirby's collateral damage in case of a sugar bowl loss 😉
Sorry I wasn’t more clear. There are a few folks on here acting like they don’t care about this stuff and talking down to those who do, when clearly they do care or they wouldn’t be on here. I care, and don’t have a problem with anyone who does care, too.
So I read the message from Kipp posted by @EvilSamPittman. This is not me questioning Kipp’s validity or the info he was told. I just don’t believe it to be true. I also can only speculate what’s going on just like everyone else. A few questions though:
I have shared previously that I didn’t think he’d choose TAMU because of Jimbo’s tendency to run his primary back into the dirt and Evans isn’t built for that.
I shared previously he didn’t really like Bama and that was his attempt to help a friend out.
I shared previously that LSU depth chart is too stacked without glass separation.
I shared previously that Dell wanted Evans, the incident caused paused and there were stipulations placed on Evans but we were his first choice (this calendar year). Evans interview acknowledges that Kirby shoots straight, you understand what he demands...I think this is another indicator that Evans met the requirements laid before him that UGA staff can control.
Finally, about two weeks ago I shared Evans would be on campus in a couple weeks.
In conclusion, despite how it’s easier to say this young man is “off” or a “diva” I think the simplest answer is likely the best answer here. Evans didn’t get the test score required to be an EE but has the class work completed. Maybe he chose not to announce with this info coming out. Maybe he didn’t. I just don’t believe the rest of this he’s not sold on coming to UGA. I don’t believe that’s true.
But here you are. Following right along.
I would just say that Evans may simply be delaying his announcement due to not yet having the ACT score (he took it in December). If he just doesn't have the results or his score was not sufficient to allow him to enroll early, he just may have felt uncomfortable about going on to national TV and possibly being asked about it.
Let's not judge his character/commitment without knowing the circumstances.
Zach Evans CB predictions are now at 100% to the dawgs as of today.

Speaking on the ZE thing at the end of the day this is an 18 year old kid. Does anyone else remember being that young and having life figured out? I sure as hell didn't. I think his intention was to be an EE but for whatever reason that didn't work out so now he is delaying his decision. I still think he is all Dawg but **** some of you turned on him in an instant. That is ridiculous especially given that nobody knew what was going on and you guys were purely speculating. Some of us fans need to take a step back and think about your actions today.
