Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

True😏
Just my opinion, but I feel like coaching disorderly conduct is kept hush hush as long as possible. Look how long it took for punishment and even public knowledge of indiscretions by past collegiate coaches(U. Meyer & J. Paterno are just recent examples that come to mind). High school coaches can get away with quite a bit more since they aren't a hot media topic like CFB or NFL. My high school coach recruited 5 players from local high schools to play on academic schollys(illegal), punched another in the chest and cussed him out when he talked back to him all in front of the team(very illegal), and kicked me off the team for missing practice when I was in the hospital(not sure if that's illegal but still). But he came to our school from a power FL school and we made the playoffs 4 out 5 years he was there and moved to a legit national powerhouse after us. That being said, I have no idea about Evan's situation and who is responsible. But without knowledge, no one should be pointing fingers and putting blame on either party at least until true details are released if that even happens.
Only 8 left out of top 100 247 Composite and our chances from reading this thread.
1-5 Burch SDE - Doubtful
2-14 Evans RB - hopeful
3-19 Broderick Jones OT - optimistic
4-55 Avantae Williams S-possible
5- 57 Gary Bryant WR- never heard of
6-59 X Henderson WR-long shot
7-71 Alfred Collins SDE- ?
8-90 Reggie Grimes WDE?
Are Collins and Grimes possibilities for last DL spots?
Breaking News 👀
???
Broken News👀
For other DL possibilities if we don’t get Jackson or Huntley, whatever happened to Jayson Jones the Alabama committ unsigned? Big guy about Jordan Davis’ size, but Jordan seems to have better feet and quickness. Anyone know what happened to Jones’ stock this year?
Pretty sure Henderson signed with Florida right ?
He announced it yesterday. So, yes.
He announced his commitment. Can’t sign until NSD. Gary Bryant also announced his school choice
My sources on the ground in Athens says that Zach is all dawg
15.5.1.10.1.1 Application. [FBS] A prospective student-athlete who signs a National Letter of Intent or an institutional offer of financial aid or a student-athlete who signs a financial aid agreement that specifies financial aid will be initially provided in the fall term of an academic year shall count toward the annual limit on signings for that academic year. A prospective student-athlete who signs a National Letter of Intent or an institutional offer of financial aid or a student-athlete who signs a financial aid agreement that specifies financial aid will be initially provided during the second or third term of the academic year may count toward the limit for that academic year or the limit for the next academic year. (Adopted: 1/14/12 effective 8/1/12, Revised: 4/26/17 effective 8/1/17 for signings that occur on or after 8/1/17)
Applicable rule. If Evans signed his NLI as generally reported he counts as a 2020 Initial and since the 2017 class these are not "made up" unless he is injured and unable to ever play prior to participating in athletic activities.
15.5.1.10.1.3 Exception -- Incapacitating Injury or Illness. [FBS] A prospective student-athlete or student-athlete who, prior to participation in athletically related activities, becomes injured or ill to the point that he or she apparently never again will be able to participate in intercollegiate athletics shall not count toward the institution’s annual limit on signings. (Adopted: 4/26/17 effective 8/1/17 for signings that occur on or after 8/1/17)
Italics are my comments as opposed to rule book extracts in bold
Thanks, missed it. Curious about BPA slots. 2 max with Evans and 3 spots without.
We know that but is UGA all Zach? Maybe the 2020 group chat has been lobbying Coach Smart on his behalf and promising to keep him in line?
Is Zach in Athens with your source ?
SugarRayofUGA, is that you????
If so, you left out
Go Dawgs
Go SEC
My sources on the ground here in Nicaragua say..." At this point, it's probably better to not believe anything until you know for a fact that he's enrolled and in class"
That's translated of course.
@Denmen185
If I'm reading this correct, doesn't this show that Zirkel could have signed an NLI/FA agreement AND still blue shirt as long as the agreement specifies that the aid wont begin until the second or third term?
