Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I think Brod has the leg up on Tate especially considering that Matt Luke is looking to go slimmer on the OL. Honestly though I think both these guys could be our starting Tackles by the end of 2020. If they were EEs, then I’d feel more confident in that claim, but I do think both are special, and their is an opening
It's been reported a few times on this thread that Evans can't sign another LOI anywhere. He just enrolls. My point is that NSD has zero impact on Evans, unless schools tell him he won't have a spot after that.
Maybe UGA gets in this again, but honestly, if ever there was a recruitment that warranted ignoring it until something final happens, it's this one.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Brod, Tate and SVPG with significant snaps in 2020; will be very interesting to see how the line shapes up in 2021 too...Brod, Tate, SVPG, Clay Webb and maybe Trey Hill or Jamaree stick around for a 4th year...I like the sound of that for sure....Hopefully we can close the deal with both Brod and SVPG and win us a Joe Moore Award in 21.
Other than people speculating on here.....where did you read that Luke wanted to go smaller?
I was just messing around early. At this point, I could care less where he signs.
I know, the three scholarships and the /s were dead giveaways, just thought I'd pile on with you with the serious version of what you said. But then I violated the first rule of ZE recruiting....don't talk about ZE recruiting anymore...sigh
I was wondering the same thing. This speculation seems to have been accepted as truth. But no actual information to support it
Per Sentell, Broderick Jones "is now thinking of squeezing in a fourth mid-week official. He wasn’t sure of the school which was likely to get a potential fourth official this month but did say Tennessee was still in the running."
I assume the Vol message boards are already announcing his signing?
Agreed. I think we saw some slowness and the posters around here are trying to will that into existence. All the big time programs (in the SEC at least) have big guys. I’d just like to see more athleticism from them. Don’t care how big or small they are.
Some on here seem to have it all figured out.
youre right it is all speculation but not necessarily unfounded speculation. Based on his past teams and personnel decisions for the bowl game I do get the feeling he wants to be a little more athletic up front. But having like 310-320 pound OLineman is smaller for us, and I don’t think anyone would call that line undersized lol.
He may very well be looking for a different type of lineman.......I've just never seen it written or explained by him. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
My point is there seems to be rhetoric started on here about what Luke wants. Things get passed around on this forum enough that people start believing it.
Would love to see the article if it exists.
Luke may very well want quicker lineman......but that doesn't necessarily mean he wants smaller lineman......like what was suggested.
If he found a 7' 400lb OT that was faster than any other lineman......I'm sure he'd take him.
Greg Little and Leramy Tunsil weren't exactly small.
I'm in no way suggesting that Luke doesn't have a different philosophy than Pittman. I would be confident in suggesting he probably does. Just haven't read what that philosophy was.
And some on here seem comfortable sharing what Luke's philosophy is......or isn't.
Yeah I agree with this. But on the other hand, what is the off-season for is not wild fan speculation!
Yes. Wild fan speculation. Especially since Kirby rarely gives media much access. Which leaves us with wild fan speculation
Thoughts on Evans - nothing i've seen is really known/proven facts. I still think something may have happened after his NLI was submitted. The NLI includes a FAA detailing the scholarship inc. time-frame, amount etc. Maybe the combination of GPA and ACT scores didn't allow him to enroll early (or something else) in which case the NLI could be deemed null and void as the FAA terms were no longer valid. There may be no dispute between the parties involved, just the "contract" is no longer enforceable. The key question is does Evans enroll at LSU or TAMU before the deadline for spring classes expires. If it was a Kirby/Evans issue alone wouldn't he have just enrolled somewhere else?
