Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Agreed that people should be identified, but this day and age the only way to avoid VD is abstinence.
I agree I’m done saying anything else QueX
Would it be possible to get links to open in a new window from the Forum, maybe DawgNation as well? I use my computer for the forum and do not have a twitter account. Some folks prolifically post twitter links (CZ) that are of interest for leaning about and following recruits. I can go back and forth, of course, but 2 issues plague me - slow rural internet and re-finding my place in the forum. Some back and forth results in going to the last post, which is useful, unless one hasn't finished a previous page, for example.
This is an excellent request and I assume very easy to address. Just a question of whether it gets sent up (or down) the chain for the right person to handle it.
TOS incorporated this feature with their last upgrade and it is awesome.
On a computer you can right click on the link and select "open link in new tab". @Walter
Just an observation. When your post is the last to be posted on a thread, it shows “1new” post. I’ve found myself clicking back on the thread to see a new post, but it’s mine. Don’t think it used to, maybe it did. Just notice this earlier in the week
Thank you so much. Easy solution. I fell like I should have already tried that....
I will add that if there are other "slow techs" (not completely ignorant but have spent well more than half their life before computers became commonplace), be sure to click on "open...in new tab", as suggested, and not "open link in a new window", next item down in the menu.
Opening in a new window gives a worse result (experience talking...). It seems like a good choice, but it opens to a completely new window, as if one is just starting the session. No option to go back to the previous screen and one has to start over in the forum.
Yes- this is a new change, never happened before this week, serves no purpose, and I agree it's annoying.
Could there be a button at the bottom of each page that will take you back the to list of topics?
There is one at the top of the page
There is one - at least on the computer "version"
Right below the box to make a post there is "Home" in red. That takes you back to discussions.
Made a wise crack post when I first Noticed it. Thought maybe....someone... nv
. I’ve been scrolling to the top of the page and tapping DawgNation like @YaleDawg suggested. Thanks
On an iPhone, the pages have a black background and white characters. Could this be inverted? It’s much harder to read.
