Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

One of UGA's Athletic Department members has tested positive to COVID-19...
According to anonymous sources, Scott Cochran has contracted the Coronavirus. Health officials confirm that the virus has voluntarily self-quarantined for a minimum of 14 days.

This is a great read, that makes sense, and shows why some models fit the situation and others do not. I will hypothesize that places with MASS TRANSIT will see a MUCH BIGGER IMPACT than others. Can't imagine a worse scenario in this than mass transit to transmit this thing...
Speaking as someone who uses mass transit regularly...it’s pretty empty right now. Everyone is spaced out. I think most are staying home if they can which is good I suppose. Trying to find any reason to stay positive right now
Oh yeah? Say it to my face. Actually move back about 6-8 feet and then say it from across the room
Think about your new child. If that doesn't make you feel good, you're hopeless😁
@pocoyo did you make it out of CA and into States?
A twisted sense of humor is absolutely representation of your armed forces. It was just a joke, calm down sugar. If this has you freaked out that bad, i advise you to see a therapist when its over.
With a mask on
Not planning on going until June, but starting to look like I'll wait longer. My son says most everything is closed anyway. But we'll see.
This is a good article on why Italy and the Iranian leadership were affected by the virus so quickly:
I live in northern Italy and it is very surreal here. Unlike the US however, there are no shortages at the supermarkets. I'd hate to get sick here but it's a nice place to live otherwise.
Here's some good information I just got:
On average the disease lasts two weeks. The WHO reports that “the median time from onset to clinical recovery for mild cases is approximately 2 weeks. Onset follows an incubation period of an average of 5 days.
This is based on the 55,924 confirmed cases in China
For severe cases it is 3 to 6 weeks according to the same study.
People infected with this virus should receive supportive care such as rest, fluids and fever control, to help relieve symptoms.

The only person here needing to see a therapist is the one relishing in the suffering of hundreds of thousands of their fellow Americans. Don’t try the “it’s a joke” tactic, we can all see your original comment. Gross.
I've been there! It is awesome. I was there in the winter. It feels pretty weird for a GA kid to watch car racing on a frozen lake.
