Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Herschel Walker
Eric Liddell
(One reason I'm a huge fan of the SEC but not the NFL)
Coach Eric Taylor
Nice one. I’m rewatching that series now. I forgot how beautifully written that show was.
Dwayne Johnson(The Rock) seems like a good role model. Maybe Steve Jobs? Oprah Winfrey?
Old school guys: The Dalai Lama & Albert Einstein.
Devon Gales
Pat Tillman
I would never consider Steve Jobs a role model. He was brilliant, but not a good guy
Don Garlits
Warren Buffett, I kid I kid
astounding
Yeah I read one of his bios and he was definitely a crappy person at times. He was extremely committed though and never gave up on his dream. I guess he just had a role model's work ethic only.
Charlie Sheen
Khaled Hosseini is a good one. He was born in Afghanistan and his dad worked as a diplomat for the government. His family had to get political asylum in the US after the communist revolution because they were executing all of the high level government officials. Came here at 15 without knowing English but was still able to become a doctor. While he was a full time practicing physician he would wake up three hours early to write his first novel, The Kite Runner. He wrote two more novels after that, and he's generally considered one of the best contemporary authors of the English language. Not bad for someone who didn't grow up a native speaker. He also started a charity to help people back in Afghanistan suffering from the constant warfare.
You serious Clark?
Jed Clampet
John Wooden
Teddy Roosevelt
