Fish seasoning...works good on other proteins too if you like Cajun spice.
Life changing!
I’ll have to find some of that. I do also like simplicity as well with a light fish like Mahi. Little olive oil, coarse salt, and a couple pinches of pepper. I think that Cajun seasoning would have been good in the fish tacos though. We had a spicy cream sauce, guac, spinach, on corn tortillas.
Baby Back Ribs....
3-2-1 Method....
1st 3 hours down... almost halfway there!!!
I'll have some Blantons later as well.
Very impressive
Ha!!!
Got you all beat!!!!
😝
It's not grilling, but I went for comfort food this week -- ham, biscuits, greens, and banana pudding from scratch one night. We've been enjoying gin and tonic in the evenings figuring the quinine can't hurt :)
I loved this thread in the old days, I love it even more in the Age of Coronavirus, and I appreciate all the contributors.
Friday was my wife's birthday , she requested I make her a carrot cake.. first time for everything..so I did and I have to admit that I am not ashamed of the outcome.. later we had a couple of Martin Miller's Gin and tonics to celebrate her birthday. Yesterday I did spicy ribs on the big green egg..and enjoyed some John Daley's . Sorry no pics...
In this Crazy Covid time I can't help but think of the old expression " Smoke Em If You Got Em".
Been getting the freezer leaned out. Big Birds been on since 5AM with apples, oranges and too many spices to list.
My cheat meal last night. Been on a diet since Super Bowl Sunday. 30 lbs down, 6 to go.
Cooking Salmon tonight for our 17th anniversary.
Been grilling every Sat. since we've been home. This week's ribs were some of the best yet. I prefer a side smoker but we got a Green Egg so I'm still getting the hang of it.
Love the Kamado...you’ll get the hang of it quickly.
Babybacks...275 degrees for 4 hours; no peeking. Been using this for 15 plus years, always works for me!
