Community is hilarious
Get shorty is definitely a watch. Great kitchie characters.
Fargo on Hulu. Coen brothers are producers. Midwest character drama like the movie but deeper character development. First two seasons are lights out.
I suggest Capadocia , Epitafios, and Profugos all on HBO latin. Solid shows. Watched them all like a Netflix binge. And yes, they all have the subtitles at the bottom if you don't speakie the spainish.
Just completed the last episode of Hell on Wheels..felt like I was saying goodbye to a old friend... great show.
Is the new season out yet? This is a fantastic show!
Ewan MacGregor season is the last which is quite frankly not as good as the first two. Still good. Season 4 to come.
Thanks.
Dark Drama......Hand maids tale. Very good, wife talked me into it and glad she did. Hulu
Classic Adult comedy.....Trailer Park boys. Hilarious. Netflix
Newer Adult comedy....Letterkenny. Also Hilarious. Hulu
Older Dark Drama not yet mentioned.......Bloodline on Netflix
Has anybody that watched Longmire noticed how much Tucker Baggett looked like Jim Donnan?
Justified’s opening scene at a Miami Beach hotel pool hooked me. Best show ever (except for the GD’s). Longmire close second.
On Demand: I watch old episodes of Chicago PD and NYPD Blue.
I guess I’m too old to appreciate most current major network tv offerings. A show about celebrity haircuts? Really?
Oh boy...are you right about Outlander! My wife loved it; I’m still scarred from the 2-3 episodes I actually watched!
Not too many left off this list, but I may have one.
Was looking for something like True Detective/Longmire and someone recommended Hap & Leonard. Mid-eighties timeframe deep south crime story. Season One was really great...good enough for me to finish the rest of the show (3 seasons total). Based on Joe Lansdale books of same name. If you liked True Detective its worth a try.
Longmire popped up at the start of this thread, and in the latest posts, and in other places in between, so I think that will be the one I check out next.
(True Detective s1 was one of my all time favorites. If it's half that good I imagine I'll enjoy it.)
Kill two birds with one stone; The Tudors on Netflix - it has an apple eating, hammock swinging favorite of ours...
